La tua Guida ti accompagna in una fiaschetteria secolare per il vino locale abbinata a piatti costruiti sulla cucina povera toscana, fuori da una vetrina di vino ancora utilizzata esattamente come era negli anni della peste di Firenze, e in una gastronomia dove il sedicente Re del Formaggio ti fa provare i suoi migliori formaggi pecorino e parmigiano. C'è una lezione di Negroni in un'enoteca storica, uno stufato a cottura lenta da accompagnare con il tuo vino Super Tuscan e un gelato finale del negozio fiorentino votato il proprio preferito. Un piccolo gruppo, e sei o sette fermate accuratamente selezionate.

Goditi un Prosecco in una delle piazze più animate di Firenze. Saluti alla dolce vita italiana e all'inizio della serata con nuovi amici!
Visitate una vetrina e assaggiate deliziosi salumi abbinati al vino più prelibato, il tutto servito in una cantina risalente al XII secolo!
Entra in un negozio a conduzione familiare gestito da un uomo che il quartiere ha incoronato Re del Formaggio, assaggiando due stili di pecorino e un parmigiano mentre lui difende il titolo con totale convinzione.
Scopri la storia dietro le Finestre del Vino di Firenze, piccole aperture costruite per la vendita del vino dell'era della peste, riaperte negli ultimi anni. Bruschette con stracciatella e un bicchiere di vino toscano affiancano la storia.
In una trattoria gestita da un duo madre-figlio, assisterete a gnudi (pasta nuda) saltati e piatti da tavola, accompagnati da un bicchiere di Chianti Classico, uno dei vini più regolamentati della Toscana, e uno dei suoi migliori.
Questa fiaschetteria versa vino per i ristoranti dell'Oltrarno dagli anni '50. Qui imparerai a preparare un Negroni vero e proprio prima di sistemarti nello stufato di cinghiale con un bicchiere di vino Super Tuscan, servito attraverso la sua Finestra del Vino.
Chiudete la serata con una breve lezione di individuazione del vero gelato artigianale, per poi assaggiare due sapori da un negozio fiorentino votato esso stesso il migliore della città. La roba color neon dei chioschi turistici non ti tenterà più.

Elissa was a fantastic guide to the Oltrarno! She clearly had wonderful relationships with the shops and restaurants, told fantastic stories about the products and the neighborhood, and showed us a wonderful time. Communication with Eli was very easy in terms of finding the meet up spot. I would take this tour again!

Fantastic tour of some of the more hidden gems in Florence, on the “other side of the river”. Great to experience a range of foods and wines from the region with a hugely knowledgeable host, small group and feel part of the city, not just a tourist. Catered well for non dairy eating parts of the group too, no mean feat in a world of all pasta and cheese!!!

We had our tour with Elisa, who had a fantastic knowledge of all things food and wine in Florence. The wine itself was outstanding, and we really enjoyed getting to experience a number of different local spots along the way. Despite the heat, the walking between each stop was very easy and relaxed. Elisa was a great host and made the whole experience really enjoyable.
