Dopo la cantina, tempo libero per visitare Montecarlo, una magica cittadina medievale che si trova in cima a una collina solitaria, con un panorama straordinario. Dopo la visita, l'autista ti condurrà in una parte diversa della campagna lucchese per vivere una vera fattoria toscana; Tra il silenzio e il profumo delle colline, la Masseria e le sue cantine sono ancora intatte, proprio come nel 1600. È in questa cornice che vogliamo invitarvi, dove potrete conoscere la nostra storia e i prodotti dell'Agriturismo: un assaggio del passato in Toscana. Pick up presso il tuo alloggio e trasferimento alla prima azienda vinicola.
Prima tappa in una bellissima cantina moderna a Montecarlo, dove potrai degustare 4 diversi tipi di vino. Dopo la degustazione, trasferimento a Montecarlo - tempo libero per visitare Montecarlo, una magica cittadina medievale che si trova in cima ad una collina solitaria, con un panorama straordinario. Si è guadagnata la Bandiera Arancione del Touring Club, simbolo di una località turistica di qualità. Famosa per la bellezza abbagliante del paesaggio circostante, è anche conosciuta come un'importante zona di produzione vinicola, come testimoniano i suoi estesi vigneti. Il centro storico, ben conservato, sorge all'interno di una splendida cinta muraria sulla sommità di un colle solitario, che raggiunge l'altezza di 163 metri sul livello del mare. Dopo la visita trasferimento all'ultima cantina.

We had an unforgettable day with Road Trippin’ Italy and our driver, Riccardo. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every part of the journey easy and enjoyable. Riccardo took us to two outstanding wineries. Our first stop was Tenuta del Buonamico in Montecarlo, where Eleanora guided us through a lovely tasting and shared her deep knowledge of the wines. The wines were excellent and the setting beautiful. The second stop, Fattoria Maionchi, was absolutely fantastic. The historic estate, the family’s warm welcome, and the lunch pairing made this one of the most special tastings we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Francesco and Andrea radiate love for their family’s history and winemaking—it’s impossible not to be swept up in their enthusiasm. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. If you’re looking for a seamless, authentic, and truly memorable wine experience, we highly recommend Road Trippin’ Italy and Riccardo.

Perfect trip - pick up by Ricardo from our hotel in Lucca (Palazzo Busdraghi) - private Mercedes mini van. Our time could haven’t been better. Knowledgeable and accommodating, Ricardo took us first to a winery for some wine tasting, then onto the historic and picturesque town of Monte Carlo , not a tourist in sight as we mingled with the locals, drank Aperol in town while people watching before going onto a truly memorable time - lunch with the great grandson of the original owners of Maionachi Winery. Superb food, wonderful stories delivered with a true passion. Worth every penny and a tour we’d do again. Brilliant way to experience the wonder of the real Italian Countryside

We were lucky to have Riccardo as our driver for two whole days of wine tasting, cooking classes and sight seeing during our stay in Montecatini. He provided a fantastic experience for my wife and I and made sure we were well taken care of at each place we visited. His knowledge of Lucca, San Gimignano and Santa Maria De Guidice were invaluable

Spent a lovely morning with Ricardo taking us through the countryside of Lucca and Montecarlo and to two wineries. Ricardo was knowledgeable about the history and area and provided a wonderful experience. We especially loved the wine tasting and lunch at the Maionchi Winery which was straight out of a movie because of its beauty and because the grandchildren are restoring this wonderful place began by their grandparents. Lunch was fabulous and were the wines. We highly recommend this tour!!

We had a wonderful day in the hills of Tuscany outside Lucca. Thanks to Road Trippin Italy the day was memorable and thoroughly delightful. We enjoyed two wineries and a delicious lunch typical of the area. Our guide was professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour and the company to anyone looking for a unique and fun experience!

Benedetta Pierotti was WONDERFUL and very informative and knowledgeable, on our journey! She was able to get special services added to our journey - without any additional cost. My friend and I were in Tuscany for the first time, and thanks to Road Trippin' Italy, we were able to just take in the beauty of where we were and not worry at all about logistics! Our driver, who is from Lucca, told us many interesting facts/history about Lucca and the region during the tour, served as our photographer a few times, and even gave us great recommendations for a special place to have dinner in Lucca! Booking, payment, and all other logistics were seamless - we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Thank you so much!!

Amazing tour!! Biagio was fantastic and took us to some brilliant vineyards and also showed us some of the history of the area, which was an added bonus! One of the best wine tours we have done. Would highly recommend.
