La città di Windsor è meglio conosciuta per i suoi legami storici con la famiglia reale britannica, ed è adeguatamente intrisa di sfarzo e storia. A dominare il resto della città è il Castello di Windsor, la casa ancestrale della monarchia Inglese e successivamente britannica, e il più grande castello abitato del mondo. È stata la casa di famiglia di re e regine britanniche per quasi 1.000 anni ed è oggi una delle residenze ufficiali di Sua Maestà il Re. Occupando oltre 10,5 ettari, il Castello offre una variegata giornata per i visitatori, tra cui una visita ai magnifici Appartamenti di Stato e alla Cappella di San Giorgio. Gli Appartamenti di Stato del Castello sono arredati con alcune delle opere più belle della Collezione Reale, che riflettono i gusti mutevoli degli occupanti reali del Castello, in particolare quelli di Carlo II e Giorgio IV. Molte delle opere d'arte si trovano ancora negli ambienti storici per i quali sono state raccolte o commissionate per la prima volta dai re e dalle regine che hanno vissuto a Windsor.
La cappella di San Giorgio al Castello di Windsor, in Inghilterra, è una cappella progettata in stile gotico alto-medievale. È sia un Royal Peculiar, una chiesa sotto la diretta giurisdizione del monarca, sia la Cappella dell'Ordine della Giarrettiera. Posto a sedere circa 800,[1] si trova nel Lower Ward del castello.

Our guide Godfrey was informative and made it interesting as we traveled. Time spent at Stonehenge and Bath was good, could have used more time at Windsor but due to the distance traveled we had to stay on schedule. More info about how tight time was and recommendations about timing for meals would help before booking. Godfrey did a good job explaining expectations once we started our trip.

The excursion is very good. The logistics and route, as well. The guide, Godfrey, a phenomenon. Bilingual, he spoke to us in Spanish perfectly, as well as in English. The main observation is that they give very little time for each place. They should give at least half an hour more at each site, to at least get to see the most important things. And return at 6:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM.

We loved the experience. Our guide, Sasha, was lovely, super friendly, and made the tour very enjoyable and interesting. It was amazing!!! Sasha, our tour guide, was marvellous!!! We visited three of England's most iconic places. None of these places wouldn't be so wonderful if Sasha wasn't out tour guide.
