Il castello di Windsor è il castello abitato più antico e più grande del mondo. È stata la casa di famiglia dei re e delle regine britanniche per quasi 1.000 anni ed è oggi una delle residenze ufficiali di Sua Maestà il Re. Occupando oltre 10,5 ettari, il Castello offre ai visitatori una giornata variegata, tra cui una visita ai magnifici Appartamenti di Stato e alla Cappella di San Giorgio. Gli Appartamenti di Stato del Castello sono arredati con alcune delle migliori opere della Collezione Reale, che riflettono i gusti mutevoli degli occupanti reali del Castello, in particolare quelli di Carlo II e Giorgio IV. Molte delle opere d'arte sono ancora nelle ambientazioni storiche per le quali furono inizialmente raccolte o commissionate dai re e dalle regine che hanno vissuto a Windsor. I visitatori possono fare una visita autoguidata del Castello con un tour multimediale gratuito. Da ottobre a marzo, i visitatori possono anche passeggiare nei sontuosi appartamenti semistatali, che furono le stanze private di Giorgio IV nel XIX secolo.

The tour itself was fine. At the end of the tour while I was boarding the bus to return to London I had a cup of coffee with me. I was shouted at by the bus driver that I could not take the coffee on the bus. I had no problem with this. I tried to ask the driver if there was a trash bin where I could throw out the coffee. He continued to shout at me, refusing to let me ask my question. I finally handed him the coffee for him to dispose of. It was humiliating to be shouted at in front of a bus full of people. I contacted the company with my complaint and did not receive a response or apology. The driver was incredibly rude and needs to learn manners and the appropriate way to speak to paying customers. I’m still waiting for an apology.
Unfortunately in all the chaos of planning my family's trip I booked this one a month prior to visiting the UK! I am feeling just sick about it but I have sucked it up & have had to rebook & pay again.dont even think I'm going to tell my family!
Great half-day trip! Windsor Castle was beautiful and well worth visiting. Everything was well organized, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London!

Our guide did not provide any information about what we were going to see during the long bus ride. All the guide did was repeatedly tell us what time to return to the bus. We returned at the appointed time and the bus wasn’t there….it arrived over ten minutes late. And when we were walking to Windsor Castle, the guide moved very quickly through the streets without checking to see if people were keeping up, and consequently lost several slower moving tourists. Perhaps she could wait at the exit of the castle and escort people to the bus at the end? Provide facts about the attractions during the bus ride? It seems like we just paid for a bus ride. And at the end of the trip the driver and guide solicited tips, which seemed unnecessary.

The tour company was disappointing. They seemed unorganized, with several tours scheduled to different places at once. And the bus seats were dirty, we changed seats 3 times to try and get one that had the usb charging working and could not find one. The bus seats were so small that you had to almost seat in each other's lap. The tour guide did not say anything on the way to the castle to explain the areas we were driving through. The tour person with the bus did not fully explain everything that was occurring at the castle and was walking so fast that everyone had a hard time keeping up with her. It was very confusing from start to finish. This was our 6th tour of the week and tour company was the worst.

2 hour bus ride or a 2 1/2 hour tour. Take a train to Windsor and get yr own ticket. Cheaper and more flexible!

It was a good trip but traffic was heavy. Certainly not the companies fault however it then meant we felt a bit rushed when there to get back on time.

Lots of walking so fitness level needed The tour is audio based no guide But easy enough to navigate
