I had a perfect experience! The 16 seater coach started right on time and our guide, Rob, was superb— helpful, knowledgeable, and punctual. The Windermere lake, the little villages of Grasmere and Hawkshead, Wordsworth’s cottage— all done in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this trip. I would highly recommend the Rabbie’s tour company as well.
It was amazing!! The tour guide Pete was great, I got to learn a lot about the Lake District and the views were stunning!

Great tour, very scenic, entertaining, the driver Derrin is very knowledgeable, you learn a lot of information, and he is very humorous. Very British! Trip is highly recommended.
Richie is an absolute gentleman and legend. The bus was clean and it felt like a private tour given there’s only three of us (exc Richie) in the tour.
Richie was an amazing guide! He was super funny and accommodating, I would highly recommend. Got to see lots of the Lake District in such a short time, I’m even thinking of doing the three day tour in the summer time!
Really nice lightweight tour with stops at some of the highlights of the Lake District. Feedback - I wish we had more restroom stops along the way. Also all the tea/coffee places were closed on our last stop, little disappointing as it was cold and a hot drink would have been nice. Maybe Ambleside might be a better place to stop for lunch instead of Grasmere?
I booked this tour to Windermere and the Lake District from Manchester through Viator, and the whole process was very easy and convenient. The cost was also very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. The tour operator was Rabbie’s, and both the vehicle and the driver were outstanding. Our driver-guide, Darren, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He explained every part of the trip clearly and shared fascinating insights about each destination, which made the experience even more enriching. I was traveling with my family, including my 6‑year‑old child, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. Darren’s commentary kept us interested throughout, and the journey never felt boring. The places we visited were beautiful and memorable, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Overall, this was a fantastic day out, and I would highly recommend Viator, Rabbie’s and Darren to anyone looking to explore the Lake District.
