Vivi Curacao con tutti e cinque i sensi assaporando la sua cucina unica in tre ristoranti scelti personalmente e con cura nella storica Willemstad. In ogni ristorante verranno serviti due assaggi di cibo e una bevanda (una bevanda calda e tre cocktail). Durante il tour vedrai anche i punti salienti della città mentre imparerai tutto sulla storia e sulla cultura. Inizia il tour a Riffort Otrobanda nel pomeriggio. Dopo una breve passeggiata, visiteremo l'area recentemente rinnovata di Kura Hulanda dove potrete gustare il pranzo. Quindi attraverseremo l'iconico ponte Emma fino alla nostra prossima fermata. All'Handelskade ci godremo due (2) spuntini locali e un cocktail. Successivamente, passeggeremo per la strada principale e prenderemo due diversi assaggi con un cocktail in un vicolo accogliente. Helvig was absolutely wonderful. This food tour felt like a casually stroll through stroll through Willemstad with a good friend. The selected food stops served delicious local food and cocktails. Five stars isn’t nearly enough to describe our experience. Imagine an old dear friend taking you around and sharing with you the experience of their culture and favorite eating spots. If I had to describe us it would be as “real foodies without the attitude”. On the culinary side we could not have been happier. The first stop, at the restaurant where the ad photo was taken was one of the best meals we’ve had - so fresh and innovative - no way to describe it adequately as it has to be experienced. The rest of the stops were also superlative. During our walking adventure we learned so much about the culture and history of Curaçao. The one thing that was even better than the food was our conversation and interaction with Helvig. The other review posted is spot-on and there just aren’t words that exist that adequately express how much we enjoyed our time on this tour.

The review I write will not do the experience justice but I will try my best. My husband and I are big foodies and always try to find unique food experiences wherever our travels may take us. This one was over the top! First off, Helvig is in fact... amazing. She is a great conversationalist and ridiculously familiar with the history of the island as she is multi-generational in that regard. She is also very humorous if you are inclined to allow her to be so. I would have attached pictures as I do in fact have many, however, that would spoil the surprises that await you should you be fortunate enough to book this tour. Thanks to her and the experience we WILL visit Curacao again which was ZERO CHANCE prior to the tour - due to a horrible resort experience. It is my understanding that she has different tours with some being without the food experience. Whatever the experience is..... just BOOK IT!!! Bonnie and Clyde Greenville, SC
