This is the oldest Ferris wheel in the world so not to be missed. We had around 15-20 mins on it and it moves very slowly. Wouldn’t rush to do it again - but you have to do it whilst in Vienna! We really had a fun day at this fair, reasonably priced rides ( compared to the UK) and the little train that runs around the fairground is amazing value - think it was €2. and it takes you out to the wider park area and through woodland - so on it for around 30-45 mins
✨ This introduction and introduction to the best place to visit Vienna in Austria is the historic Wiener Riesenrad. It is located in the playground of Pratt in Vienna, Austria. It is hard to get to the local sightseeing, of course to sit down on the 19th-century skyscraper - the Viennese skyscraper Wiener Riesenrad. The ticket price for an adult is 14.5 euros, the cabin can accommodate dozens of people, everyone is expected to go to sit together with the others - there is a seat on the front. The entrance is not cold air, but the turn is about 15 minutes, so it is acceptable. ✨️ After entering the left corner there will be a miniature model exhibition, showing the appearance of the playground and the different periods of skiing. After viewing the exhibition, you can board the skyscraper, overlook the beautiful view of the Vienna city moon, and see it as a Pratt amusement park! ✨️Mountain wheels in which there are chariots to eat, some people will ask for marriage on the mountain wheel! ✨️ Take the subway line U1/U2 to Praterstern stop, and walk about 5 minutes to get there ♫ ⚡Platter Park Prater Riesenradplatz 2, 1020 Vienna
This is a very smooth riding Ferris wheel. The cars hold a dozen people. The ride is just one revolution, but slow enough to enjoy the view.
Very beautiful to see from below, large and entirely made of wood. The tour is a bore! The tour lasts a long time because it stops continuously to let people on and off. We found it boring.
It was so hot and the ride was floating in the hot sun So we ended up not going on this ride which was very disappointing 😞
I was worried that the ride might be jerky and a bit rough but it was very smooth. You almost could not feel it going around. You could stand and move around the car with no concern. Even you are intimidated by heights this ride will not be scary to you!
Believing we could walk past the line with the purchased online ticket, we were disappointed beyond measure. The code was not accepted. Please exchange this ticket for a printed QR code at checkout. No recommendation to buy!
Visited whilst on our hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Located in Prater Park, the ferris wheel is impossible to miss (can be seen across much of the city). We purchased the Ferris Wheel tickets on arrival, very little queue and no saving had we of purchased them on-line. The attraction is very well run and courteous staff throughout. The ride itself lasts around 15 minutes and gives the visitors outstanding views across Vienna. Plenty of room to move around the carriage and see the views from all angles. Added bonus for us was that it was a very clear day. Possibly a little pricey especially if travelling with a family but for the two of us it was well worth it and a memorable experience.
Giant Ferris wheel was a lovely addition to our trip. You can have your photo taken and there are several carriages as you walk to get on the ferris wheel each carriage has models and scenery
Very pleasant and entertaining You can see the entire city and the Prater Since it turns slowly you have enough time for a good and relaxed view
