The whale watching experience was amazing and one of the highlights of my trip. It was very special to see the whales so close and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The trip was well organised, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing experience, and I really enjoyed it.
Awesome. We saw so many whales, must be peak migration season. Crew were friendly and helpful. Seasickness pills were a good idea.
What a great time we had. So exciting to see the whales blowing water and even more so when we saw a young whale splashing its tale and generally showing off for us. The crew were super attentive and seemed to genuinely share our excitement when we saw any whales. Definitely recommend.
Great experience and great crew, it is the luck of the draw when it comes to nature and animals and we were fortunate to have a great display from a migrating whale.
Absolutely great time from time we left marina to return we. Spotted whales almost immediately and followed closely crew rotated people around so everyone got a great view
This smaller family owned business helped us really enjoy our day at sea. We sighted many whales, one even breached in front of us. The team were very informative
We did see whales so that was great. However, the boat was much smaller than the picture and there was very little very little room inside. This was only an issue because you get soaked during the excursion. I highly recommend bringing a rain poncho. They are also not joking about going if you get sea sick at all. There were quite a few people who got sick since the waves are rough. The whales were gorgeous, but I’m not sure they were worth the overall experience.
A sunny winter morning, set off at full speed on this surprisingly fast boat (wear rainwear or get out of the way!). This small boat was the best whale watching adventure not shared with 100 on other operations. The skipper honed in on a pod then we were fortunate to trail a playful youngster that completed a dozen somersaults in an hour. 🐋
Crew was friendly, energetic and helpful . We spotted several whales but there was no commentary about them during the trip, even though the website said this would be given by a marine biologist on board. Sea was choppy so many people got sick, they could vomit over the side of the boat. Probably not suitable for very young kids.
The crew was great, but the boat is small. This makes the boat rock a LOT! And the water splashes in a lot too. We were full drenched, super sea sick and waiting to reach shore. The crew did a good job of chatting with folks, they were warm, passed around lollipops and tissues, we did see a few whales and one jumped out too ( so the tour checked the box for whale sighting), but the boat experience wasn't pleasant. A larger boat is supposed to be less rocky, more comfortable and probably better for families and folks who don't want too much adventure.
