Itinerario

This was not the greatest experience. To start, we were not contacted the night before the tour as promised via email. I finally called and got a drowsy person who needed to call someone else and then call me back. We were picked up at our resort the next morning, so we didn't have to taxi to the pickup point, which was great. 6 passengers (2 not with our group) were stuffed into a too-small vehicle that made the 1hr ride VERY uncomfortable, although the driver was quite friendly and pleasant. Once onboard, we were provided snorkeling equipment with no apparent cleaning mechanism on board, just a rinse in the sea water alongside the boat. We were actually in the water snorkeling for 30 minutes, tops. Followed by a questionable local meal (although some of the passengers were delivered to a different, more upscale looking restaurant). And then the trip concluded with a very uncomfortable ride back to our hotel. Disappointing. The tour operator does have the opportunity to make some simple upgrades, like a snorkeling washing station onboard, which would have made us more comfortable. If the snorkeling opportunity is short, just advertise that so people know what they're getting for the tour price. Lastly, just take fewer passengers OR get a larger van that will accomodate 6 passengers comfortably.
Dear Rene_C, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. While I am glad to hear that our driver was friendly and that the resort pickup was convenient for you, I am incredibly sorry that the rest of your experience did not live up to expectations. You raised several valid points that we take very seriously: Communication: You should never have to chase us down for your tour details, especially the night before. We are reviewing our evening dispatch and confirmation process to ensure this doesn't happen again. Vehicle Comfort: A one-hour drive should never feel cramped or uncomfortable. We are currently re-evaluating our vehicle capacities and transport assignments so that groups of six have plenty of breathing room. Sanitation & Equipment: Your safety and comfort are paramount. Your suggestion for a dedicated onboard snorkeling washing station is excellent, and we are looking into how we can implement a better, more transparent cleaning process immediately. Itinerary Clarity: We want our guests to know exactly what to expect. We will be updating our tour descriptions to be much more explicit about the exact amount of time spent in the water and how lunch arrangements are structured. We genuinely appreciate your constructive suggestions on how we can upgrade our services. Thank you again for helping us improve. Warm regards, Wasini Dollphin Norkelling.
