Una visita guidata naturalistica nella romantica Varenna, sul lago di Como, guidata da Nadia, guida locale autoctona abilitata AIGAE (Associazione Ufficiale Italiana Guide Escursionistiche Naturalistiche). Un tour a piedi di circa 3 km nella graziosa Varenna, pittoresco borgo marinaro medievale sul lago di Como, situato di fronte a Bellagio e Tremezzo. Un'esperienza a piedi di 2 ore visitando attrazioni famose ma anche allontanandosi dai camion battuti, incontrando artigiani locali e vivendo Varenna come un locale. Alla fine del tour c'è la possibilità di vivere un'esperienza unica a bordo della tradizionale barca del Lago di Como, la “LUCIA”. La barca è stata resa famosa da Alessandro Manzoni nel romanzo “I promessi sposi”.

Una visita guidata naturalistica nella romantica Varenna, sul lago di Como, guidata da Nadia, guida locale autoctona abilitata AIGAE. Varenna è un villaggio sul Lago di Como, in provincia di Lecco nella regione Lombardia italiana, situato a circa 60 km a nord di Milano e 20 km a nord ovest di Lecco. Varenna fu fondata da pescatori locali nel 769, e in seguito si alleò con il comune di Milano. Un tour a piedi di circa 3 km nella graziosa Varenna, pittoresco borgo marinaro medievale sul lago di Como, situato di fronte a Bellagio e Tremezzo. Il nostro tour parte da P.zza San Giorgio, il cuore di Varenna, dove si trovano 4 chiese. Dalla piazza scenderemo verso il lago, lungo le caratteristiche stradine medievali. Passeggiata sul lago lungo la "passerella degli Innamorati", poi visita ad un artigiano. L'artigiano locale sarà la sorpresa della giornata: un pittore, un pescatore o un produttore locale. Al termine del tour opzione per un'esperienza unica a bordo della tradizionale barca del Lago di Como, la “LUCIA”, chiedi in anticipo!

This is a lovely tour of Varenna from a local. It was very fun to hear about the cities history see some of the sites and visit some of the shops. Particularly fun to watch the interaction of the locals with one another. We really loved the gelato.
We had a great day with Nadia, she is from Varenna, so was able to take us to all of the places that we were interested in seeing and places that would typically not be discovered on your own. She was able to help with recommendations for restaurants and the kind out of shops that like as well as future travel arrangements regarding getting around the area. I can’t imagine anyone else knowing as much about this lovely Lake Como town as Nadia does, she even treated us to gelato!
We loved our walking tour with Nadia. It was great to do on the first day of our trip in Varenna because it gave us a good lay of the land. Plus, Nadia gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to visit for the remaining days of our trip. Definitely recommend, and Nadia is a great tour guide!
Booked trip only to have to cancel due to tour operator changing the tour time 2 days before. A full refund was provided but we could have booked a different tour during this time had we known that advertised time was not available.
Due to the organization of and important family problem, I had to change the starting time of the Tour. I suggested different solutions, in the same day and in different days, unfortunatetly no one of the suggested options worked for you. So Sorry..
I booked this via another website. The day we were traveling, the day before arrival to Varenna, we received an email that “I am sick and will not be able to do our tour, hope to see you next time!” No attempt to find an alternative guide. When is “next time” when you are traveling? I received a refund. I have had similar, but always was offered an alternative guide or plan. So unprofessional!
I'm very sorry, I am not used to cancel the Tour. Unfortunatetly that day was for me impossible to lead a tour, because I was very sick. I asked some collegue of mine before cancelling, unfortunatetly no one was free. Sorry again.

Nadia was a fantastic tour guide! She has crafted a wonderful tour of beautiful Varenna. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and having grown up in Varenna knew many people and great stories. We would highly recommend any of Nadia’s tours! She is a delight!

Varenna is a beautiful and breathtaking village but without Nadia’s help we wouldn’t be able to appreciate the details of this jewel. I really recommend Nadia as a guide: she loves share the history of this magical site!
Great experience. Lovely and romantic Luogho, charming route. Pleasant, professional and available driving with both adults and teenagers. The history of the place, the anecdotes, told professionally are an experience that I recommend. Very pleasant.
