Enjoyable trip on the Danube river. Boat is very modern and comfortable. However, don't expect to see a lot of castles or other interesting sites along the river, except for the Walhalla.
A very beautiful boat trip, a very beautiful boat, super nice staff, and a good selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, you cannot really understand the loudspeaker information about the sights and the info about Regensburg. The Walhalla is definitely worth a visit. A great excursion.
nice boat ride there and back with commentary, drinks. Works like hop on/ off so you get off to do Walhalla then hop back on next boat shuttle to return. Pleasant employees. Walhalla was a great experience- be prepared to do LOTS of stairs to the top but so worth it. There’s a small snack and drink shop at the top as well as toilets. Would definitely do it again.
The ship "Kristall Prinzessin" is worth seeing just for the sparkling crystals in the stairs, the staff is very friendly, and the price-performance ratio is also right. The food was very good. You have enough time to walk to the Walhalla and visit it in peace. I can only recommend this excursion. We were completely satisfied.
The vessel is beautiful, with plenty of comfortable seating and food and drinks available for purchase. I was traveling solo, and on the trip to Walhalla I wasn’t served, although other passengers were. Since I chose not to climb up to the Walhalla Memorial because of the steep uphill walk, I remained on board during the stop. On the return trip to Regensburg, the staff did come by and I was able to order. The cruise departed Regensburg at 10:30 AM and returned at 12:15 PM. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience with lovely scenery along the Danube. Despite the service issue on the outbound journey, I would still recommend the cruise.
Simply book online and board with a QR code; everything fit.
The boat had big windows all around the seated undercover area, giving a great view on all sides. There was also an upstairs open-air area but there was a cold wind so we didn't stay long. The downstairs area had tables and a small food and drink service area. There were announcements in German and English, about what you could see on either bank. We did not go up to Walhalla as it has many stairs and no rails to help.
Great beginning from the booking, the whole arrangment and the Site of Walhalla ist outstanding.
Beautiful river cruise, but one cannot understand anything from the announcements (explanations).
The departure times did not indicate that an ascent to Valhalla was not possible. This should have been better signposted.
