Wagyu e sushi: viaggio gastronomico di Tokyo

Itinerario

Passaggio senza sosta

Hidden Gems of Shinjuku

Our guide Yuki was incredibly knowledgeable about Japanese food culture. The sushi restaurant was a small, authentic place I would've never found on my own. Each piece of sushi was expertly crafted - much better than what I've had back home. Great value for the quality of food and experience!

incredible experience

Was one of the most memorable experiences in Tokyo. Natsuki was a super friendly guide and knowledgeable about the history of the area. He showed several places that were not too famous among tourists. The food we had was superb, especially wagyu yakiniku. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore hidden gems in Shinjuku.

Great Culture and Food Tour!

My wife and I had a nice tour with Miharu. She took us two locations, Sushi with Sake and the Wagyu with Whiskey Soda. Both locations were quant and authentic. Along the way she pointed out landmarks, explained the culture and history, and even made sure we saw the Godzilla show at 8pm. During dinner we discussed Japan culture and customs which was very educational. A lot of fun. Certainly recommend.

Great Tour

Great tour for perhaps eating the iconic foods of Japan. Ando Minoru did a great job of showing us around, answering all of our questions and explaining about the foods we ate. I did see a review that questioned the need for a guide. Well, we would have never found both restaurants on our own, let alone being in a private room for sushi and the best table for the grilled wagyu. Great tour and guide.

Tour guide was very nice...

Tour guide was very nice . But you really don’t need a guide to do this . You can find these 2 restaurants we went to and go there yourself . It was just like going to a sushi and wagyu place and having dinner .

Evening out in Shinjuku

Sushi and Wagyu beef… it doesn’t get much better! We made two stops, first for sushi, which was excellent. The second restaurant was amazing! Grilling Wagyu beef at our table was such a fun experience and the beef was beyond delicious! Thank you to our guide. If you love exploring great food, this tour is for you.

Fun fun fun!

What a great experience from beginning to end. We met our amazing guide at the agreed upon place and began our walk. Our walk took us thru the small fun streets that we would have missed if we were on our own. Our guide pointed out sites not to be missed and shared back stories with us. What we didn’t expect was how secondary the food part of was going to be compared to the sites and sounds of Shinjuku at night! The first stop was for sushi. The place was great. Small, cozy, and just like you see in pictures. We sat right at the counter so we could watch the sushi chefs do their thing. Our guide queried us as to likes and dislikes and ordered an assortment of sushi, soup and beverages. Our guide translated as well as identified the ingredients so we knew what we were eating. It was a delicious and authentic experience. Our guide paid the bill and off we went for another walking tour. We talked with our guide about the history of the area, the types of shops we saw, and the different bars and restaurants. Next stop was for waygu where we grilled the meat at our table ourselves. Our guide suggested how to eat, how to put a bite together, and how to truly make it an experience. We enjoyed sake and beer along with sparkling water. We learned about different types of sake and actually went with him to a liquor store to buy some specific sake with characteristics we liked to take home. Our guide ensured we got back to the hotel safely. I highly recommend this tour and I will do this again should my travels bring me back. And a solid “thank you” to our amazing guide!
