Raggiunta la zona di Ensenada, inizieremo la nostra salita al Centro Sciistico Vulcano Osorno, situato a 1.240 metri sul livello del mare. Una volta lì, avrai tempo libero per ammirare gli spettacolari dintorni, scattare foto e goderti una vista panoramica sui ghiacciai, sul lago Llanquihue e, nelle giornate limpide, sull'Oceano Pacifico. Per coloro che desiderano migliorare la loro esperienza, il centro sciistico offre una caffetteria dove rilassarsi con un caffè, nonché passaggi opzionali in seggiovia che offrono una vista ancora più mozzafiato sul paesaggio vulcanico. Inizieremo la nostra escursione da Puerto Varas “la città delle rose” verso il vulcano Osorno, costeggiando il lago Llanquihue godremo di una bellissima cartolina con i vulcani Osorno e Calbuco innevati sullo sfondo, fino a raggiungere il settore Ensenada.
Da qui inizieremo la salita fino a raggiungere il Centro Sci e Montagna del Vulcano Osorno, situato a 1.240 metri sul livello del mare. Resteremo lì per circa un'ora dove avremo tempo per goderci il paesaggio, scattare fotografie e apprezzare una vista impareggiabile sulla cima dei vulcani con i loro ghiacciai di neve eterna, Calbuco, il Lago Llanquihue e l'Oceano Pacifico.
Facoltativamente, i passeggeri possono servirsi un caffè o un panino presso la caffetteria in loco o prendere gli ascensori per salire a 1.450 metri di altezza presso la Spring Station o a 1.750 metri presso la Glacier Station da dove si può vedere una vista meravigliosa e impressionante. del lago Llanquihue.

Trip to Osorno Volcano and Petrohue Falls was very nice, the scenary was incredible had lot of time to explore the Falls and at Osorno and boat ride in the lake though a little too windy Our driver cum guide was knowledgeable and friendly and organised. He was speaking in three different languages. He was good.
We had a great experience on our Osorno Volcano tour. We had plenty of time to take the chair lifts to the Glacier Station. Then our Driver Daimen took us to the Wooden church in Porto Varas. We also toured the Plaza De Armas at Puerto Montt before being dropped at the Fish Market to see sea lions.
Very punctual and pleasant the trip, we visited everything calmly and with very good stories, fair stops and a lunch in Ensenada very homemade and rich.
We drove from Pucon to Puerto Varas on Rita 5. Recommend a detour via Puerto Octay and round the east side of Lake Llanquihue. It’s about 100km to PV but a lot of scenic stops. The best being Puerto Octay for the views and the drive up Orsorno volcano. The road to the volcano is 20km but tarmaced all the way to the chairlift. Views are stunning of the surrounding valleys and mountains. If you can, take a trip on the three lakes crossing to Argentina. The trip takes about 10 hours to Bariloche but can be done over a couple of days. Lots of options. A great way to get to Argentina.

The guide informed a lot about the region and the nature. Very interesting. The tour was a bit more than 4 hours along the lake and then up the volcano. A beautiful landscape. I appreciated that the guide was informing in Spanish and English, although I was the only English speaking
We were picked up at Puerto Montt, went to the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, drove along the panoramic road to the vulcano Osorno. Our guide Joaqiun was very knowledgeable and spoke sufficient English.
Easy access. You go by car on a winding but well preserved road. Upon arrival at the parking lot there are several trails, a cafeteria and also cable car with chairs to climb in 2 more levels. In addition to the wonderful view, there are 2 very interesting viewpoints.
Unfortunately the cable car was closed the day we went up, as it was snowing and very windy. The view is spectacular. But it's very cold!
