La giornata perfetta a São Miguel anche se piove, è esplorare l'attività vulcanica a Furnas : "caldeiras", geyser, sorgenti termali. Avere il tempo di visitare e fare il bagno al Parco Terra Nostra e alle sorgenti termali. Il biglietto d'ingresso non è incluso, è possibile acquistarlo all'ingresso del parco il giorno (soggetto a disponibilità). Se preferisci non visitare il parco puoi dedicare più tempo alla scoperta del villaggio di Furnas e approfittare della possibilità di degustare e acquistare prodotti famosi dell’isola: tè, “Bolo Lêvedo”, pannocchia di mais al vapore, “Queijadas” e molti altri. O a pranzo. Anche se non incluso è possibile fermarsi a pranzo il tipico "cozido", presso un ristorante locale. Si prega di avvisare in modo da prenotare in anticipo. Esplora le piste e la fabbrica della piantagione di tè a Gorreana Tea Plantation. Pit stop lungo la strada su punti panoramici chiave come Santa Iria e Pico do Ferro. Questa esperienza dura circa 5h. Si prega di notare se ci si ferma per il pranzo potremmo aver bisogno di prendere meno tempo su altre posizioni.

Circondato dallo splendido scenario botanico del torrente, troverete un laghetto di acqua termale. Ti sfidiamo a immergerci i piedi!
Fermati lungo la strada per immergerti in una splendida vista a 360 gradi sulla costa settentrionale dell'isola e sulle montagne.

Ritiriamo in qualsiasi luogo su Ponta Delgada (compreso aeroporto e porto crociere), Lagoa, Ribeira Grande e Furnas aree. Carlos was very good. Enjoyed the sites and the information very Much. Lived going to the pot cooking sites, would have liked to get to try the food!

Our guide Carlos did an outstanding job. From the moment we met him, he was friendly, personable, and had a lot of knowledge to share. He was also very easy to understand, very accommodating to our needs, and was very prompt. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Carlos as your guide!
WOW! This was a fabulous experience. I chose a private solo tour as I was limited on time and had very specific things I wanted to do and see. Carlos is a local and knew so much about the island and history. With weather continually changing that day, he adjusted our locations so strategically so that we had the best views when the weather cleared. Took me to a smaller fabulous restaurant to try the local dish cooked in the thermal ground heat. Gave me plenty of alone time as I requested to explore on my own. Loved the thermal activity viewing, the lunch, the views from the top of the mountain, and the professionalism of Carlos. Highly recommend this tour and company! I will be back.
Carlos was our guide, and we were in awe of his expertise and knowledge. He was very friendly, easygoing, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing. Overall he was great company and also gave us space at times to explore. He was flexible with our itinerary a bit given that the hot springs were closed (due to natural reasons) and that my crew had already (accidentally) visited Lagoa do Fogo. This was one of the better guided tours I've ever done. Thanks, Carlos!
We spent the day exploring the east end of Sao Miguel island with Rita and could not have been more pleased. Rita is highly professional and knowledgeable as well as warm and engaging, as if we were traveling with a friend. Rita shared local history, culture, and interesting anecdotes all along the way. In fact, we enjoyed our time so much that we booked a west end tour with her. Time on this tour and with Rita is time well-spent on the island.
My guide was a teacher/professor and was extremely knowledgeable about his country. He went above and beyond to make sure I saw everything possible even though the weather was terrible with rain, fog and wind.
Don’t hesitate book this tour! It’s one of the best we’ve ever had. Carlos, our guide was super knowledgeable, so obliging, polite, and spoke perfect English. He showed us one end of the island to the other. He was so generous with his knowledge and time, we were very impressed. The island is gorgeous, and he is very proud of his home. Don’t hesitate, this is one of the best tours we’ve ever taken Carlos, our guide, who was absolutely the greatest, spoke perfect English and knew every every single site to bring us He was courteous, effective, and so full of knowledge. We covered one end of the island to another, and I didn’t want it to end. So well worth the money.
Great communication and a wonderful private tour! Carlod was at the cruise dock at the time we had agreed on and we spent the day with im exploring this beautiful island. His English is perfect (he lived in the US) and he is very knowledgeable and loves the island. We were ahead of the buses from the cruise line and had a lot of time to look and explore. Yes, we would book with him again in a heart beat.
