A mountain flight from Kathmandu is a popular one-hour scenic tour that offers a close-up, bird's-eye view of the world’s highest peaks. The flight departs from Tribhuvan International Airport in early morning. The total flight time is one hour. The journey is tailored for sightseeing, ensuring every passenger has a direct view of the Himalayan range. The airlines typically only fill their aircraft to half capacity so that every passenger is assigned a window seat. Cabin crew provide brochures and live commentary to help you identify the 20+ major peaks visible during the loop, such as Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. At the end of the journey, many airlines present passengers with a personalized certificate to commemorate the experience. I travelled with Buddha Airways Flight. It is a life time experience.

This was probably the highlight of my time in Kathmandu. Being able to see a good part of the Himalayans(including Mount Everest). The tour guide, and driver were right on time. Communication was very good. If you only have a couple of days in Kathmandu, I was strongly recommended.

Bibas sorted out hotel pick up and dropped us off and printed confirmation and sorted it all out for the next day when we couldn’t go because of the weather. He was very efficient and kept in touch. The trip was brilliant - a memory box moment and I would recommend to anyone. The trip was very organised and cabin crew were also so helpful. Do not miss this trip!

An amazing experience flying along the mountains with a great view! The cabin crew made announcements and went down the cabin explaining what we can see and gave us certificates. We took great pictures of Everest! Very friendly, helpful and safe guide + driver with proactive communication. On our first day that we booked this flight, all flights to Everest were cancelled due to bad weather, the airline put us on a flight the next day for free very quickly and the driver waited to take us back to hotel. We arranged to try again the next day and everything was very successful and smooth. We're very glad we tried again and booked with this agent for flexibility and accomodating us and would highly recommend!

Sunshine Travel Agency handled purchasing the flight ticket with Shree Airlines without issue. Our flight was delayed but it didn’t matter- the experience was incredible! I travel solo and it was a great time.

Our decision to visit Nepal was somewhat spontaneous, so we didn’t have much time for detailed planning.
