Il nostro tour a piedi inizia con un breve giro in funicolare, che ci porta a Polyterasse - la terrazza panoramica di fronte al Politecnico federale. Da questo punto di vista, potrai ammirare splendide vedute della città mentre scoprirai affascinanti approfondimenti su ETH e sui contributi di Zurigo a istruzione, scienza e innovazione.
Continuiamo ad esplorare il fascino del centro storico di Zurigo e il quartiere di Niederdorf, ricco di storia, cultura e bellezza senza tempo. Passeggeremo per le sue strette strade di ciottoli, fiancheggiate da edifici medievali, boutique e invitanti caffè.
Passeggiando nel centro storico ammireremo monumenti iconici come il Grossmünster, Fraumünster e la Chiesa di San Pietro, che ha il quadrante dell'orologio più grande d'Europa. Con i suoi vicoli nascosti, boutique store unici, fontane d'acqua e piazze pittoresche, il centro storico di Zurigo promette un viaggio accattivante nel ricco patrimonio della città.
Il Lindenhof Hill è un'oasi tranquilla nel cuore di Zurigo, ricca di storia che risale all'80 a.C. e riconosciuta come il luogo di nascita della storia della città. Con le sue viste mozzafiato, questo pittoresco parco funge anche da luogo perfetto per scattare foto memorabili.

E' ora di riposare. A Bürkliplatz saliamo a bordo del traghetto per una rilassante crociera sul Lago di Zurigo.
L’ultima parte del tour è dedicata a una delle perle locali di Zurigo, una delle piccole montagne locali: Uetliberg o Felsenegg, dove prenderemo un breve treno o una funivia aerea per godere di una vista panoramica mozzafiato. Questo popolare luogo ricreativo per la gente del posto offre una vista mozzafiato su Zurigo, sul lago e sulle Alpi innevate. Faremo anche una piacevole passeggiata lungo l'esclusivo sentiero "Planetweg", che mostra un modello in scala ridotta del nostro sistema solare. Circondati dall'aria fresca e dalla bellezza della foresta, concluderemo l'esperienza con un breve viaggio in treno per tornare a Zurigo.

This was a great excursion. Really enjoyed the various means of travel. Learning about Switzerland/Zurich was interesting. A bit more time for lunch would have been nice.
Our guide was very informative about the area. We visited many locations. Only problem was that connections between modes of transport were timed too close together. Hiking up steep hills in the sun and heat at a rapid speeds without a stop was not healthy. 5 minute stops while hiking would have made the experience more comfortable while giving the guide time to give us more information about each location.
Great tour with a great, personable guide named Greg. Interesting information and sights with varied transportation! It was great!
Patricia was great but the 6 hour tour needs some logistic timing changes. Less time in old town especially if it is raining -more to enjoy the stops -lunch only 30 minutes in a crowded area /15 on the last stop where we could have enjoyed 30 minutes for a drink and sit and enjoyed the view -skip the climbing of the very steep hill -there was a lift to take people up -the boat ride in Zurich lake was enjoyable -the tram and cable car were nice but we came away with feeling the experience could have been more fun .
Other than the tour guide GREG for his expertise and communication skills, this tour needs to mention the difficulty level/code of it being hard for the kind of walking those uphills and downhills especially for Seniors, Being a Senior myself with my partner, it was so challenging and had I known I would have never chosen it. I have heart condition and need prior intimation of taking such a risk. Older people please stay away from this tour..
This was a great, informative tour. Our tour guide Greg was excellent! It is a little challenging(hills) but well worth the sweat.
I guess there was a hill that had to be navigated quickly. My friend couldn’t do the hike so we stayed on the boat. So sorry to have missed the rest
A fabulous day covering all the main sights in and around Zurich. Our guide, Patricia was so friendly and very well informed. She asked about us all. She was able to answer all questions fully. We travelled on foot (2 hours) going up a few steep hills but worth it for the views. We went on the bus, trams, Polybahn and cable car. Unfortunately the weather changed and we were unable to get views from the top. Patricia guided us every step of the way. When the tour ended , she was able to answer our questions and help get train times etc so we could travel next day. Thank you, Patricia. Zürich and yourself did not disappoint and of course, I would recommend. Be aware that there is a lot of walking, up and down steep hills so best be prepared for the weather also!
