Questo tour ci porterà, assieme ad un accompagnatore locale alla scoperta della vera Padova. Faremo una passeggiata per la città alla scoperta degli scorci e monumenti più importanti. Vedremo Prato della Valle, la Basilica di Sant’Antonio o “Il Santo”, meta di milioni di pellegrini ogni anno e una romantica commistione di stili e culture da tutti gli angoli del mondo. Lungo le vie ciottolate i portici medievali raggiungeremo il cuore pulsante del centro storico. Vedremo l’Antico Ghetto della città che con le sue strette vie e i locali è diventato luogo di ritrovo dei giovani studenti. Poi le Piazze, Piazza delle Erbe e Piazza della Frutta con le viste sul Palazzo della Ragione e spesso ravvivate dai banchi del Mercato e il brulicare di persone sotto il “Salone”. Raggiungeremo Piazza dei Signori, luogo di ritrovo dei padovani all’aperitivo e un tempo dimora dei Signori della città. Palazzo Bo sede dell’Università di Padova. Concluderemo il tour con una degustazione "alla padovana"

Prato della Valle, la più grande piazza della città di Padova e tra le più grandi d’Europa che con le sue 78 statue è un album dei personaggi importanti di Padova.
La Basilica di Sant’Antonio o “Il Santo”, è meta di milioni di pellegrini ogni anno, una romantica commistione di stili e culture da tutti gli angoli del mondo.
A sud della piazza delle Erbe si snoda un labirinto di strade strette che formano il Ghetto ebraico, operante dal 1603 e abolito nel 1797, anno in cui, sotto la spinta della Rivoluzione Francese, gli ebrei furono dichiarati liberi e uguali.
Il Mercato si trova nel centro della città, in un grande edificio chiamato Palazzo della Ragione. Nel cosiddetto Mercato Coperto “Sotto il Salone”, sono ospitati diversi negozi di specialità gastronomiche dove si possono trovare ogni sorta di specialità ed eccellenze padovane. Qui troverete le macellerie, la pescheria, il fruttivendolo e tante altre botteghe che vendono olio, carne, formaggi e tanto altro ancora.
Piazza delle Erbe chiamata un tempo anche piazza delle Biade o piazza del Vino ma anche piazza della Giustizia è una delle numerose piazze che caratterizzano il centro storico di Padova. Fu per secoli, con piazza della Frutta, il centro commerciale della città. Nelle due piazze si svolge uno dei più grandi mercati d'Italia. A differenza di piazza dei Signori, teatro delle celebrazioni civiche, piazza delle Erbe era sede dei festeggiamenti popolareschi. La piazza è dominata dalla mole del Palazzo della Ragione, parte del grande Palazzo Comunale.
Piazza della Frutta chiamata un tempo anche Piazza del Peronio è una delle numerose piazze che caratterizzano il centro storico di Padova. Fu per secoli, con Piazza delle Erbe, il centro commerciale della città. Nelle due piazze si svolge uno dei più grandi mercati d'Italia. La piazza è dominata dalla mole del Palazzo della Ragione, parte del grande Palazzo Comunale e dalla Torre degli Anziani.
Palazzo Bo sede dell’Università di Padova, fondata nel 1222,è la storica sede dell'Università degli Studi di Padova. Tuttora è sede del Rettorato e della Scuola di Giurisprudenza. È inoltre la sede del Teatro Anatomico più antico del mondo.
Detto anche il caffè senza porte perché rimase aperto giorno e notte dall’inaugurazione nel 1831 fino al 1916. Qui è possibile degustare il CAFFÈ PEDROCCHI, il Caffè alla menta più famoso al mondo, che nasce dal perfetto connubio tra espresso 100% arabica, emulsione di panna fresca e menta in sciroppo e una polverata di cacao amaro.

It was a pleasure to spend a few hours in Nico’s company. The tour was very informative, we asked questions and never felt rushed. Nico is very nice and attentive person who loves his city.
