Per iniziare la visita, ci incontreremo alla fontana del sole in Place Masséna, nota per essere il punto d'incontro di tutta la gente di Nizza.
Ci tufferemo direttamente nel famoso centro storico di Nizza per raggiungere la via più frequentata del centro storico, il Cours Saleya e il suo famoso mercato dei fiori multicolori e il suo magnifico palazzo della prefettura.
Ci fermeremo al Palais de la Préfecture di Nizza per vedere un imponente edificio storico in stile neoclassico, che attualmente ospita la prefettura delle Alpi Marittime. Il Palazzo della Prefettura è circondato da giardini curati e cancelli in ferro battuto, con un'elegante facciata e dettagli architettonici decorati
Quindi andremo più in profondità nella Vecchia Nizza per scoprire la sua piazza centrale e la sua famosa cattedrale di Sainte Réparate e i deliziosi ghiacciai che la circondano.

A visit with Gianni that I highly recommend for history enthusiasts and those fond of anecdotes. The tour was very interesting through the old town of Nice. Gianni interspersed his tour with explanations about the city's heritage and kindly answered our questions. We were delighted to discover Nice and its history. Gianni loves his city and its surroundings very much, and we were very happy that he shared his passion with us.
I tried to reach out to Viator and there was absolutely no way to call somebody which is very disappointing. I reached the actual tour guide and he was in another part of France so he could not even come to give me the tour that I arranged months ago. At least Vito refunded me.
I'm truly sorry for what happened. It appears there was a sync issue between Viator's booking system and my planning calendar — your reservation simply did not show up on my end, which is why I was not in the area that day. This kind of technical bug is deeply frustrating, as it penalized both of us. I want to reassure future travellers that my personal contact details are always included on the booking voucher — please don't hesitate to reach out directly if anything seems off before your tour.

The tour was very interesting and informative. We really enjoyed listening to the tour guide. Highly recommend this tour.
Good information about the destination at the beginning of a stay. We had a private tour since there was no other guest. We had a little trouble meeting up with our guide because of the huge area at the meeting point. It would be better to state a specific spot to meet in a large square.

However, I should mention that the meeting point is specified as the Fountain of the Sun in the middle of the Massena square, which is typically the most precise landmark I can provide in Nice. The fountain serves as a clear, central reference point that is easily identifiable.
