Oltre alla storia e alla cultura che Tirana offre, avremo una panoramica di questa dinamica città dalla cima della montagna. Faremo un giro su una funivia che ci porterà ad un'altitudine di oltre 1000 m. L'aria fresca e la bellezza della natura sono prevedibili nel monte Dajti.

Itinerario
Inizierai con un tour panoramico a Tirana, considerata una città relativamente nuova, anche se monumenti antichi e manufatti che sono stati trovati in giro, testimoniano gli inizi precedenti. Visiterai luoghi interessanti come la Moschea di Ethem Bey (1798-1823) e la Torre dell'Orologio, piazza Scanderbeg con il monumento di G.K. Scanderbeg, l'eroe nazionale dell'Albania, Museo storico nazionale - la più grande istituzione museale albanese; e molti altri.
Dopo un breve tragitto in auto verso est, scoprirai il Parco nazionale delle montagne Dajti, ricco di diversità di flora e fauna. La tua guida ti porterà in cima al Monte Dajti (1400 m) con le gondole della funivia Dajti Express. Da qui, il tour prenderà un sentiero ben calpestato che si snoda attraverso la foresta di querce fino al Cherry Pass che si trova tra le due cime del Dajti. Continueremo ulteriormente lungo il sentiero, che offre splendide viste sulle pianure occidentali dell'Albania e sulla costa adriatica.

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide, Gerti, was incredibly knowledgeable and humorous. We had fun while learning about Tirana and Albania. Our tour began as soon as we left our hotel. Gerti pointed out numerous buildings and landmarks of importance. He took us to Skanderberg Square where we learned about Skanderbeg’s rebellion against the Ottomon Empire, King Zog, Communism and more. We toured a communist bunker near the square and learned so much about this devastating time in Albania’s history. Gerti told us about all of the different buildings, paintings, and sights around the square. From the square, we took a cable car to the top of Dajti Mountain. The ride and the views were amazing. We were even able to get in a bit of a hike. After the mountain, Gerti took us to a local restaurant with delicious, traditional, Albanian food. We loved the food and the atmosphere. On our way back to the hotel, he pointed out additional landmarks and explained their importance. It was a wonderful day. Thank you Gerti! We give you and the tour our highest recommendation!
