Il modo di trasporto più comune in Sri Lanka è tramite un'automobile a tre ruote, opportunamente indicata come Tuk-Tuk dal rumore dei loro motori. Se non sei stato in un TUK TUK non hai visitato lo Sri Lanka. Il modo migliore e più divertente di strisciare per le strade trafficate di Colombo. Sarai prelevato dal veicolo al porto o al tuo hotel a Colombo e inizierai il viaggio TUK TUK attraverso le affollate strade di Colombo (circa 30 - 45 minuti). Quindi verrai trasferito di nuovo al veicolo con aria condizionata con la guida dell'autista per il resto del tour che include la visita delle attrazioni di Colombo come l'area residenziale e le aree di importanza storica; Cinnamon Gardens, Old Parliament, Victoria Park, Town Hall, Moschea Jamiul Alfar e Tempio Gangaramaya

Passa poi da Chatham Street, un'area ormai alla moda che è stata vietata per molti anni a causa della guerra civile dello Sri Lanka. Procedi da lì a Pettah, un quartiere di Colombo noto per la sua vasta gamma di bancarelle e la Moschea Rossa. Fermati per 20-30 minuti per prendere degli spuntini o fare affari.
Dirigiti accanto a Sri Kaileshwarm Kovil (il tempio indù del Capitano), il principale sito di culto per i residenti di Colombo, quindi procedi verso Piazza Indipendenza, il luogo in cui lo Sri Lanka proclamò la sua indipendenza dal dominio britannico nel 1948.
Recati in una fabbrica di tè dove puoi ottenere l'esperienza del puro tè di Ceylon con la sua degustazione (cioccolato, vaniglia, fragola) sono sapori molto famosi tra loro
Fai l'ultima sosta della giornata al Tempio Gangaramaya, uno dei più importanti templi buddisti di Colombo. It was such a great experience of spending our holiday with kingfisher tours. Thank you kingfishers for giving us this wonderful experiece and making us enjoy our holiday. When we visited colombo, we went to the gamgarama temple which was one of the beautiful places with the lake and theemre so many other places to visit in colombo as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! It was perfect for seeing Colombo. The tour guide Aswar was friendly and provided an experience that will last for a lifetime. He gave a lot of history and cultural context and I was able to see many sights. I was able to try a Sri Lankan beer and was gifted with packaged tea from various parts of Sri Lanka. So cool and unexpected! I would recommend this tour to anyone. The Tuk Tuk experience is one everyone should have. Glad I did it.

The Colombo city tour was a good way of learning about Colombo Great tour guide gave good information and was friendly and kind.
