Ciao, mi chiamo Julia; sono una storica dell'arte e anche una delle guide ufficiali della Tate Modern. In precedenza ho lavorato come assistente di ricerca della collezione alla Tate e ora sto organizzando una delle esperienze artistiche di maggior successo a Londra. Non è raro sentirsi allo stesso tempo incuriositi e confusi da un'opera d'arte contemporanea. Lascia che ti guidi attraverso le gallerie della Tate Modern in una curiosa indagine su ciò che vediamo e, si spera, durante le 2 ore che trascorreremo insieme, acquisirai le capacità di guardare, vedere e parlare di arte. Alla Tate Modern, guarderemo alcune opere d'arte favolose da una nuova angolazione e cercheremo di viverle a un livello più personale senza idee preconcette. Fai domande! Emozionati! Parleremo di arte in un modo in cui nessuna risposta è troppo grande, o troppo piccola, o troppo giusta, o troppo sbagliata. Tutte le età sono benvenute, non è richiesta alcuna conoscenza specifica dell'arte.

Dobbiamo apprezzare ciò che vediamo per capirlo e viceversa? Parleremo in modo approfondito di tutte queste domande. Non è richiesta alcuna conoscenza tecnica preliminare, tutti sono i benvenuti. Ottimo per viaggiatori singoli, coppie, famiglie, gruppi di ogni tipo, team ed esercizi di team building.

Julia was very knowledgeable about the artwork in the Tate Modern as well as the building itself. She was also fun to be with. Highly recommend taking one of her tours. You won’t be disappointed.

Very knowledgeable, relatable, pragmatic, and fun guide, we did not notice how fast two hours passed and how much we learned. Greatly recommended. Seeing Tate Modern with a knowledgeable guide is a different experience. Our son also had a wonderful experience learning about art work, artists, and their place culture. Wonderful to spend time with very recent works as well.

Julia masterfully guided us through the vast collection at Tate Modern. I loved her very insightful take on the masterpiece of the modern and contemporary art. She didn't just lecture, but engaged everyone in a group with clever interactive questions that led to better understanding and remembering masterworks of art. I also truly appreciate the care with which Julia made sure everyone is comfortable: one person in our group couldn't stand for a long time. Julia made sure there was a place to sit, so everyone had an equally great experience. Thank you for being such an excellent guide, Julia!

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the museum & artwork. She highlighted works and artists we did not know and provided cultural and art historical context. The tour was expensive. We were glad we did it.

Excellent! Our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and able to engage my 11yo in developing a better understanding of our journey through the Tate. She was very accommodating, and punctual. Highly recommended!
