In questo tour esploreremo il Parco Nazionale di "Blue Eye" e The Fortress Lekuresi. Entrambi i siti sono luoghi turistici attraenti, entrambi ricchi di storia e bellezza. È una zona molto pittoresca, dove sgorga acqua cristallina dall'interno della montagna Mali i Gjërë. Questa primavera attuale è la fonte più grande e più interessante tra le altre 18 sorgenti che scorrono dal Mali i Gjërë. È stato dichiarato Monumento Naturale e ha una forma ovale simile alla forma di un occhio. La primavera ha una grande profondità, che arriva fino a 50 metri, ed è circondata da una fitta e lussureggiante vegetazione. Tutto sommato, la zona offre una fantastica vacanza per adulti e bambini.

Inaspettatamente spettacolare come la costa dell'Albania meridionale è (ed è magnifico!) Quello che ti aspetteresti di vedere ci sono luoghi che ricordano il Mediterraneo più dei tropici. Eppure, come ormai sappiamo, l'Albania è la terra dell'imprevisto! Il paese nasconde il suo piccolo paradiso tropicale, giustamente chiamato Blue Eye (in albanese: Syri i Kaltër). Forse lo spettacolo più stupefacente in Albania, il Blue Eye si trova a circa 30 minuti di auto dalla città costiera di Saranda sulla strada per Gjirokastra (tutti i posti da vedere, a proposito!). Sicuramente, il fattore sorpresa aumenta la bellezza dell'intera esperienza. Trovare i tropici in Albania non è cosa da poco! Forse descrivere la multidimensionalità e la profondità di questa bellezza surreale è inutile, ma bisogna provare! Il paesaggio che porta al Blue Eye svela questa anomalia della natura mentre ti ritroverai circondato da palme, felci selvatiche e piante tropicali, così come una fitta vegetazione montuosa di querce e sicomori, tutto in una volta! Questa vegetazione è mantenuta rigogliosa e gloriosa dalla sorgente che scorre giù dalla montagna nel fiume Bistrica. Un totale di diciotto molle sono disperse lungo il sito! La sorgente d'acqua dolce della montagna Gjerë (in inglese: ampia) sfocia nell'occhio azzurro e crea una piscina naturale con profondità di circa 50 metri. O, così dicono! La profondità effettiva non è stata ancora determinata. Molti subacquei hanno tentato di arrivare fino in fondo, senza risultati.
Visita per la vista sulla città di Saranda e le isole Ksamil dal suo trespolo su una montagna. Tutto ciò che rimane del castello sono le sue antiche mura, ma un piccolo ristorante situato all'interno ha trasformato una parte delle rovine in una terrazza del ristorante. Da questo bar ammirerai la vista sul mare e sulla città sottostante mentre assaggi la cucina tradizionale. Potrebbe essere necessario avvicinarsi al bar per ordinare durante l'alta stagione. L'ingresso al castello è gratuito e puoi vagare intorno ai muri di pietra, ma indossa scarpe da trekking adeguate per proteggere i tuoi piedi dal pennello e dalle rocce. We parked our car in the pay parking €3,- for a maximum of 3 hours. From there it is a 20-minute walk. Climbing and descending. Just before the bridge is the official entrance and you pay €0.50 per person. There is a train: one way €3,- per person. We were there at 9am. It is still quiet and less hot.

I called to book a day tour to Lekursi castle, Blue Eye and Gjirokaster last minute. Leka Tours were able to give me a tour the next day. Customer service is excellent, they communicated to me swiftly. The lovely female tour guide was extremely knowledgable and informative. She was also kind and friendly. I learnt a lot about Albanian history, geography and culture from her. It was also a hot day, the minivan was comfortable, had AC and charging ports. Our tour of the Blue Eye with Halil was incredible. There were no extra costs and he was so knowledgeable about the history of every site he took us to. The tour lasted around 2 hours, and Halil was so lovely and accommodating to our requests. We would come back just for halil
Highly recommend this tour! It completely exceeded our expectations. The transportation was comfortable, Halii was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable. He shared lots of interesting stories and facts along the way, and at the Blue Eye he didn't just leave us on our own—he took the time to explain things and chat with everyone. We also got to stay at the castle until sunset, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth it! Btw the Blue Eye entrance fee was included.

Halil was our guide and he was so nice and looked out for us the whole time. Halil was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much on this tour. I highly recommend the tour more people should do it. Blue eye was beautiful don’t go expecting it to be big and full of activities.. it’s more so a nice place to take in nature and relax from the busy world we are in. Halil also took us to the castle and there we had amazing views.
