Esploreremo il Parco Nazionale del "Blue Eye", un'interessante località turistica, situata nel villaggio di Muzinë, vicino alla strada nazionale Delvinë - Gjirokastër. Si tratta di una zona molto pittoresca, dove l'acqua cristallina zampilla direttamente dalla montagna Mali i Gjërë. Questa sorgente è la più grande e quella che desta più interesse tra le altre 18 che sgorgano dal Mali i Gjërë. È stata dichiarata monumento naturale e ha una forma ovale che ricorda quella di un occhio. La sorgente è profonda fino a 50 m ed è circondata da una fitta e lussureggiante vegetazione. In generale, la zona è un'ottima opzione sia per gli adulti che per i bambini.
In questo tour esploreremo la fortezza di Lëkurës, che si ritiene sia stata costruita nel 1537, quando il sultano Sulejmani attaccò Corfù. Il castello si trova all'interno delle rovine del villaggio di Lëkurës in cima alla collina e torreggia sulla città di Saranda. Si tratta di una posizione strategica da cui è possibile vedere l'intera baia di Saranda, la strada che conduce a Butrint e le isole di Ksamil. Inoltre, potrai anche vedere l'isola di Corfù. Un luogo ricco di storia e una vista fantastica.

There were so many mishaps with this tour I do not know where to begin. The driver was given the wrong time and did not meet us at the port. If it had not been for Port security making calls for us we would have given up on the tour altogether. When he was located we had to walk 10 minutes to his car. He did not have our names on a display card or any ID saying he was with the tour company. Last minute messages were sent but the port has no Wi-Fi and we were off the ship. We did finally take the tour but the driver, although he was nice and polite, had little to no information about our stops. The company was very nice during the booking process and the Blue eye was beautiful, and worth the ride but book with some else.

Location without any structure. A source of water that with the reflection of the South looks very blue, face super clean water. Interesting.

It doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of options of things to see in Sarande, so we were glad to do this tour. They were prompt in picking us up off the boat and taking us to the two sights. The sights were both interesting and our tour guide did a good job telling about them as well as life in Albania.
