Jack is brilliant, interesting and entertaining— a master of the British Museum! We were thoroughly engaged (and forgot all about our jet lag).
Hamish provided me with an excellent overview of the entire Museum during my first visit to this museum.
Great pre-guide communication with both Jack and Tim, our guide. During our tour, Tim gave in-depth explanations and insights of the whole exhibit and the pieces within the exhibits, where they came from and how they made their way to the British Museum.
An incredible amount of history in a relatively small museum. Well worth a stop. Something to offer for all ages.
Our guide, Jack, was one of the best we have ever had. His enthusiasm was infectious. We could see and hear his love for not only The British Museum but for history. It was really a pleasure to tour the museum with him. He asked if we wanted to see anything in particular, we did, and he made sure that we saw all of them plus things we didn’t even know we would love.
Jack is an excellent guide and gave us a wonderful guided tour at the British Museum. It was definitely worth doing.

Jack gave me an amazing tour of the British Museum. I'm a huge Egyptology and history buff and Jack wove all the stories of the museum together for me. I learned about the context of why the pieces are in the museum, how the museum is organized, how the pieces came TO the museum, and lovely nuggets of history and personal details about the items. I can't recommend Jack any more highly. Thank you for a wonderful tour.

Betsy, my guide was great. I had been to the museum a decade ago without a guide, poked around and read a bunch of the plaques. But Betsy guided me through the exhibits giving historical perspectives, sequencing the events depicted in the exhibits, adding history of the collection of the artifacts as well. She really enhanced the experience. We had a coffee/tea together at the end and she offered information and tips for travel and destinations in London in general. Excellent experience.
