Itinerario
Visiterai il Palazzo Comares con la sua area amministrativa chiamata Mexuar, il Patio de los Arrayanes con i suoi portici e la piscina e la Torre Comares dove si trova la maestosa Sala del Trono. Verranno spiegate le tecniche di costruzione dello stucco e le tecniche del legno utilizzate per realizzare il soffitto originale che si conservano ancora. La visita prosegue con il Palazzo dei Leoni, maestosa opera del sultano Mohammed V dove visiteremo il patio con la celebre fontana e le sale annesse come la Sala delle Due Sorelle e dei Re. Concludendo la visita nella zona del Partal e della Torre de las Damas.
Visiteremo la parte militare offrendo spiegazioni della struttura difensiva della città palatina dell'Alhambra, saliremo alla Torre de la Vela per godere della vista spettacolare di Granada, Albaicín e Vega de Granada, spiegando la funzione che la torre avuto e cosa succede con la conquista cristiana. Visiterai il Jardín de los Adarves e la Puerta de las Armas.
Visitiamo l'edificio cinquecentesco con spiegazione delle sue facciate e del cortile d'onore, spiegazione della sua costruzione, simboli e indichiamo l'ubicazione dei musei che ospita.
Viene coperta l'area pubblica dell'Alhambra, spiegando la struttura della città, commentando le modifiche cristiane come la chiesa di Santa María de la Alhambra e il convento di San Francisco, attualmente convertito in un ostello nazionale che era il luogo di sepoltura della regina Elisabetta. Visitiamo la zona della terraferma dove si trovano le rovine del Palacio de los Abencerrajes, una famiglia molto importante della corte dei Nasridi e la zona della Medina dove vedremo le rovine delle officine e dei forni che utilizzato per costruire le decorazioni.
Tour della collina del Cerro del Sol dove vedremo i frutteti nasridi e i giardini labirinto cristiani del Generalife, spiegazione della flora dei giardini e dei frutti che venivano prodotti nei frutteti. Visita al Palazzo del Generalife e spiegazione della sua comunicazione fisica con la città dell'Alhambra. Patio de Polo, Patio de la Guardia, Patio de la Acequia dove vedremo la casa estiva del Sultano, Patio de la Sultana con i cipressi e alti giardini. Esci dal recinto attraverso il Paseo de las Adelfas.

Marian was our guide. We visited the Alhambra. Three full hours with a lot of history and curiosities. He was very kind, and the entire organization was perfect. It is appreciated that they message you on WhatsApp beforehand to remind you. Highly recommended

Everything was brilliant from start to finish. They sent out reminders and a pin drop on the day to let you know where the meeting point was. It was very easy to find. The audio tour was fantastic and a huge shout out to Laura. Full of fascinating information and extremely kind and thoughtful to some elderly people in our group. Thoroughly recommend this company. We have used them before in Seville also.

Very complete and detailed explanation by Marian, the guide. She was very pleasant and guided us on some things about Granada that we asked her. The Alhambra is, as always, beautiful.

***BEWARE*** - We booked an english tour but we were paired with a Spanish/English group. That meant that we got only 1/2 of the tour we paid for but worse than that, it was VERY hard to follow the guide as they switched back and forth between english and spanish sometimes mid sentence. At some points she was well into a description before i could realize she had switched back to english. It was quite frankly horrible. We broke away from the group to walk on our own because we were not getting any real value from the guide. When we talked to the operator, they were very dismissive and said "while the tour is listed as being in English—and was indeed conducted in English—there are times when tours may be offered in more than one language due to organizational reasons." ***BEWARE*** they might switch up your tour on you without notice and make it more than one language!!!
