Ci incontreremo all'ingresso principale del Museo di Antropologia per iniziare una visita guidata che esplora le origini delle culture mesoamericane. Il Museo Nazionale di Antropologia di Città del Messico è il più importante museo dell’America Latina, che ospita la più grande collezione al mondo di arte preispanica. In circa due ore e mezza, ripercorreremo 10.000 anni di storia, esplorando oggetti di uso quotidiano e manufatti cerimoniali di antiche civiltà come Aztechi, Maya, Zapotechi, Toltechi e altri. I punti salienti includono l'iconica Pietra del Sole (calendario azteco), nonché templi e tombe ricostruiti. Dopo il tour, avrai tempo libero per esplorare il museo al tuo ritmo.

It was just the best day. Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. Great day! We learned so much more than we expected. Seeing the Olmec Heads and the Jaguar Mask was on my bucket list. I was iffy about eating at the restaurant there, but it was a great experience too!

This was the first time that there was a mixup Of the tour language. It was an English guided tour but when we got there the guide was a Spanish speaking guide. I’m not sure why there was this mistake but she was quick thinking and managed to solve the problem by enrolling an onsite English speaking guide who turned out to be very informative and well versed . Luckily our day did not go to waste and everything turned out great Hopefully this was a rare mistake because it can ruin your whole day.

This was a great way to see the museum, especially as English speakers that cannot understand the Spanish language signage everywhere.
