I think this is as good as one can expect to get from a group tour booked on a 3rd party site. I was a bit worried at first as we were on a big bus full of people with the guide speaking both Spanish and English (I booked an English tour and it said the group size would be max 30 people). Once we got inside the site we split up into different groups. Our group was about 15 people and English only, which was a relief. Our guide Yair spoke perfect English and you could tell he knows his stuff. He gave a lot of info at every stop. We had our guide for 2 hours and then another 1 hour to walk around on our own, which I think worked pretty well. No water provided, so be sure to take a lot of your own (bus stops on the way there for a toilet break and to buy stuff) because there is NO shade and the site is huge.
Tour was a good experience. Be ready for a long, warm walk through the ruins.
Our guide, Hermes, was incredible! He recounted the robust history of Teotihuacan in a digestible and interesting way; I learned a lot and had a good time. Our group was intimate, three people, which helped as we had all our questions answered. The only hiccup I’d say was the pickup, since it wasn’t super well described, but honestly, the driving here is different so I reckon it is challenging to provide an accurate time estimate. That said, a WhatsApp message would be helpful :)
Such informative guide, very fun and chill and does not rush you or trap you in tourist traps!
Our team was Omar, Ma. Fer and Yair and it was good. Yair our guide in English gave us a great tour and he explained to us in great detail. It was a good experience.I.
Yair is a great guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. There is time at the end of the trip to explore or climb the temple of the moon. I recommend doing it if you’re able.
Yair was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and knew what to advise on throughout the tour - exceptional value. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. You’ll really enjoy it.
Our private guided tour with Armando was amazing. We were picked up from our hotel, and from the start Armando educated us with history and facts about Mexico City. When we arrived at Teotihuacan, we stopped at an artisans workshop where one of the locals spoke about some of the materials used by the Teotihuacans, and we sampled some local drinks made from agave. After this Armando gave us an extensive tour of the site, visiting all the pyramid sites and some of the homes. He was most knowledgeable on the murals and the stories told on them. I could go on, but it's best you discover how great the experience is yourself. Well worth your time and money. Don't be afraid to try the ant eggs!
Ilse was an amazing guide. Her communication regarding pick up time and location was very helpful. Miguel, our driver, was safe and the car was very comfortable. Wear sneakers! Fabulous tour - highly recommend.
Excellent, highly recommended tour
