I ended up doing a private tour with Lucas as there weren’t others signed up to do the shared tour. Lucas picked me up at my hotel and toured everything on the shared itinerary but with a lot more time and detail. Highly recommend the private tour with Lucas. He is so interesting, personable and always made sure safety was a priority. I will definetly book a tour with Lucas when I return in October! It was a great day!
I booked this tour in advance and the tour agency claimed on the same day that "due to insufficient group size the trip will be canceled". They proceeded to offer me a private tour instead, adding 40 dollars to the original sum (which was already expensive). I declined and asked for a refund. The tour company claimed to process a refund though till now I haven't been reimbursed.
A very dissspointing experience.
This felt less like a tour and more like an Uber driver driving us places. We didn’t really see much, and not much was explained. I could have just taken an Uber to each place myself and it would have been cheaper and more informative.
For $111 USD we got driven around to a few spots. Our guide/driver was nice and it was good to be able to talk to a local but they did not give much information or give a tour. I could have done the same stops solo for 3-4 Uber rides and paid $20-30
Lucas my Guide was Great!! Very knowledgeable and super amazing person. I will definitely come back and use this tour company again
Roberto was an amazing guide. Super attentive, fun and full of good stories. Made the ride to be light and unforgettable!
Should be 0 star, but that is not an option. I had an awful experience. I got to the starting point 15 minutes early, contacted the operator twice 10 minutes after the start when they had not shown up, got no answer, contacted Viator who said they contacted the operator and that the operator would call. They did not. Wasted 4 hours and 110 US dollars on my only free day in Sao Paulo. I've asked for a refund (with copies of my messages to the operator and photos of the area taken before the starting time) and hope it will come soon. Hope they also offer a free experience for my troubles.
