We had the most incredible day with Stefano from Out of the Box Florence. From start to finish, he was warm, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. He planned a perfect itinerary for us – starting with Corzano & Paterno, a beautiful winery and cheese farm that quickly became our favorite. The wines, cheeses, and stunning scenery were unforgettable. Lunch was another highlight – a home-cooked Italian meal prepared by Francesco, which truly felt like dining with family. Every course was delicious and perfectly paired with the day’s wines. We wrapped up at La Massa in the afternoon, and the entire experience flowed seamlessly. Between the thoughtful planning, authentic food and wine, and Stefano’s genuine hospitality, it was the kind of day you dream about when visiting Tuscany. If you’re in Florence and looking for something beyond the usual tours, I can’t recommend Stefano and Out of the Box Florence enough. This was a truly special experience we’ll never forget.

We had a wonderful experience lead by Stefano, who is so charming and funny! We biked through the Chianti and stopped for some great wine at Montesecondo. Our lunch stop at Terreno was also memorable. Definitely recommend this adventure!

My wife and I spent a day with Out of the Box tours; with Stefano and his very comfortable ride (Perceval). Stefano is knowledgeable and genuinely nice. He has a good sense of humor and the inside connections that make a great trip. We customized a day from Florence to visit San Gimignano (for my time San Gimignano is worth the trip even over Lucca. Each view from the walls is like a Tuscan painting) followed by a winery (Montendioli that I would highly recommend) then lunch in Panzano at Enoteca Baldi (famous for their wine list and zucchini carbonara) and another winery in Panzano (Le Cinciole which was awesome for Sangiovese. Single estate and single plot biodynamic bottlings and a great rosè). This was a great day and Stefano was a great guide and excellent driver! Highly recommend!

This was our second tour with Stefano, and the wineries he brought us to the second time were just as special as the first time. He is so knowledgeable and always curates the most beautiful experiences. We will always book our tours through Stefano any time that we visit Tuscany!

Stefano customized a cheese tasting and farm tour for us along with a wine tasting and lunch in greve Chianti. Both were lovely - small businesses run by local Tuscan families running organic and sustainable enterprises. My kids will always remember the farm / cheese experience and Steffano’s tour of the local Tuscan country side was equally memorable. We would highly recommend this tour and any others arranged bt Stefano. Something this curated and bespoke can only be done with true local knowledge and personal relationships in the area.
