Arriving at the Montreal Airport late and having to pick up a Car Rental was very stressful. There were NO SIGNS leading to the area where the car rental desks were. Thank goodness I spoke limited French, because I had a hard time asking people in the airport where I could find the Car Rental compnies. To access their desks, you have to pick up your bags, Then EXIT THE BUILDING TO OUTSIDE towards the parking lot. You keep walking for what seemed almost a block, and you could see their signs in the distance. This a a hint that may save someone arriving late, when there were not a lot of people around to help. Also, It may be useful to learn the French Words for CAR RENTAL... VOITURE a LUER!
