We modified our itinerary with prior agreement from the tour operator and driver Nidal. Instead of Bethany, we visited the Dead Sea Panoramic Complex and Museum, 10 km from the resort beaches. (Not the Museum at the Lowest Place on Earth, which is too far south and caused confusion at first.) Nidal picked us up on time and first took us to an exchange house, which got us out of a currency jam. Then Mt Nebo and the amazing mosaics in the church, then a nearby mosaic factory to learn how they are made (and shop, of course, but we didn't buy any). Then St. Georges Church in Madaba to see the historic mosaic map of Palestine in Byzantine times, and the site of beheading of John the Baptist. (Call that a "bonus" if you want.) Then scenic high road to Museum, then to Holiday Inn for our Dead Sea dip and late lunch. And finally, at sunset, back to another mosaic shop. Nidal has some remarkable views on what's really going on behind the scenes in Middle East politics - not what you expect or hear on western media. And lots of facts and insights on daily life in Jordan. A very full day, and a good one. Recommended.
Tour guide was great, gave full information about the places we visited. Gave enough time to look around.
Amazing tour. Many differents sites visited. Enough time to walk around and explore. The guide was always helpful and managed to fulfill even special requests that weren't scheduled. All expectations exceeded. Thank you very much for this great day. I really enjoyed it. Excellent service
I stayed in Jordan for 7 days and visited all the top attractions. Throughout my stay I felt Jordan is an over rated country. The weather is unpleasant, prices are exorbitant and people are conservative and do not know basic English. If you are into history, you may find the place interesting. For others, it is not worth your money. A 3-4 day trip to Jordan is more than enough.
We are really sorry to hear that; but this is not the opinion for 99% of travelers who come to visit Jordan, Keep in mind that June-July and August are considered the lowest season in Jordan and this is due to the high temperatures that might occur and can not be predicted; and this year was just burning everywhere which leaves anyone uncomfortable. For anyone who is comming to visit Jordan; try to avoid the low season, and you would need at Least 5-6 days to see the most amazing places and sites in Jordan.
Yousef, our private driver was excellent and provided a lot of helpful information along the way. Highly recommended.
Khalil drove us very good and secure. But this wasn't all. He explained us everything in good english language, we had good talking about Jordan, Religion, life, how people live in Jordan, Emulation an so on. He is a very interesting Person.
Everything in the trip and I would thank Mr m.h so much he give us a great conversion and I'm so grateful to be a part of this trip
I loved the history that St. John and St. George had. Wadi mujib was one of the best experiences I had and is a must visit with Mohammad Harb
No doubt the highlight of my solo trip. Let me start by saying thank you to my driver Khalil, he was so professional, helpful and funny. Although I had doubts because I was a solo travel I had no reasons to. I did not felt rushed, I took my time in each stop timing for was perfect, Al-Mujib Siq trail will leave everyone in awe, what an amazing place. I recommend this excursion to everyone
