6,7,8,9 iniziamo il tuo tour ad Alessandria, la seconda città più grande dell'Egitto, capitale dell'Egitto per quasi migliaia di anni. Alessandria fu fondata da Alessandro Magno che ha un'atmosfera più mediterranea che mediorientale ed è famosa per i suoi resti romani.
La tua prima tappa in questa città storica sono le catacombe che sono il più grande cimitero romano costituito da tre livelli scavati nella roccia del I o II secolo.
La "Colonna di Pompeo", conosciuta anche come la colonna commemorativa più venerata d'Egitto, si erge come simbolo di significato storico. Realizzata in solido granito rosso, questa struttura colossale raggiunge un'altezza sbalorditiva di circa 28 metri, mentre la sua base vanta un diametro impressionante di 2,7 metri. Ad adornare la parte superiore del lato occidentale si trova un'iscrizione inscritta nell'elegante lingua greca. Questa iscrizione rende omaggio allo stimato imperatore Diocleziano, noto per il suo incrollabile impegno per la giustizia e per il suo ruolo di guardiano di Alessandria. Riconosce anche gli sforzi monumentali di Postumo, lo stimato Prefetto d'Egitto, che ha supervisionato l'erezione di questo magnifico monumento. Nel XV secolo d.C. era essenziale per le fortificazioni di Alessandria. La Cittadella si trova all'ingresso del porto orientale, sulla punta orientale dell'isola di Pharos. Fu eretto sul sito del famoso Faro di Alessandria, una delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico. Il faro continuò a funzionare fino al tempo della conquista araba. Our tour to Alejandria was an absolutely wonderful experience, especially as a couple traveling together. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing my husband and me to fully relax and enjoy the day. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional work of both the Ahmed (the guide ) and Maged ( the driver). Ahmed was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating insights while making us feel comfortable and cared for throughout the journey. Also took great pictures of us. Meanwhile, Maged ensured a smooth, safe, and pleasant ride, which made a big difference in how enjoyable and stress-free the trip felt. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to any couple.

We had a memorable time in Alexandria because we have the best tour guide Ehab Mehana and our driver Maged. We were picked up from our hotel and drove about 3 hours to reach our destination. Ehab is sensitive to our needs, giving us time for toilet or coffee breaks. He has very good command of the English language. He didn’t rush us in any place , he gave us enough time to explore and even volunteered to take our pictures. He is very knowledgeable and can answer all our questions. Best of all a very patient guide with many years of experience. It shows how much he is enjoying his work . By the end of the day he is like a family to us .Hope to see him again someday . We had a wonderful trip to Alexandria with our driver, Shadi. He was punctual, professional, and very friendly throughout the day. The car was comfortable, and he drove safely, which made the long drive very pleasant. Shadi speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy and helped everything run smoothly. He was patient at each stop and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable while visiting places like the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The travel to Alexandria while long (2.5 hours) , it was quite smooth. We got to see all the key sites (the catacombs , the citadel, the library and the Pompeii column) and Fady our guide was quite helpful and patient.

I only booked the driver. The driver Karim is friendly and responsive. He drove safely and took us to different points at Alexandria, and allowed us some free time to explore. He also took us to a seafood restaurant for lunch. Thank you for arranging everything.

A really disappointing day, the driver to Alexandria took 5 hours due to fog and when we arrived the tour was cut short so we could get back to Cairo. There was no discussion regarding the tour being cut short and theee was no reason for us to be back in Cairo at 5pm. I felt the whole experience was a rip off and couldn’t recommend this to anyone.
