Nonostante i danni subiti nei secoli, resta un simbolo eterno della grandiosità di Roma.
Uno dei crocevia più importanti di Roma, dominato dall’imponente Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, noto anche come ‘Altare della Patria’, dedicato al primo re d’Italia. La piazza ospita anche Palazzo Venezia, residenza papale e, successivamente, quartier generale di Mussolini durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. La Fontana di Trevi è una delle fontane più famose al mondo e un capolavoro del Barocco. Progettata da Nicola Salvi nel XVIII secolo, raffigura il dio Oceano su un carro a forma di conchiglia, trainato da cavalli marini. Secondo la tradizione, lanciando una moneta nella fontana con la mano destra sopra la spalla sinistra, si assicura il ritorno a Roma. Una delle piazze più belle e vivaci di Roma, costruita sull’antico Stadio di Domiziano. GRANDISSIMI Andy and Max - great tour guides. We came with a cruise and had only a few hours in Rome. We took the 3hr tour and were able to give our 7 and 9 year old a glimpse of Rome in a day visiting the most important sites! Thanks for these memories and special mention to our tour guides!
The Vespa and sidecar was a fun ride and enjoyable and fast way to see the sights. It was way better than walking. Our guide,Massimo, though didn’t know much English and it was hard to understand him. He didn’t tell us anything about the sights either. He also said we couldn’t do all the sights that we had signed up for because of traffic. He asked us where we wanted to go but said we couldn’t see all the ones listed. We saw the ones we wanted to; colosseum, trevi fountain, the artists square, pantheon. I’d do it again but be prepared to say where you want to go.

We really wanted to love the sidecar tour, but sadly we chose to end it after 1 hour (it was supposed to be a 3 hour tour). My boyfriend and I took turns riding on the back of the motorcycle, it is super scary and stressful, your butt is all the way at the back of the seat (and I am a small person) and you feel like you're going to fall off at any moment because there's only a tiny metal bar to hold on to behind you, the roads are bumpy and the driving is quite fast at times. I suppose you could to hug the driver to hang on better, lol, but we did not care to do that. Also your legs have to be spread so wide that you basically get off the bike each time with your whole body in pain. I should note that we are both familiar with riding as a passenger on a scooter, so it was not our first time or anything. The sidecar experience was not ideal either. We are generally not people to complain about anything but this was just an awful experience. Also, the driver spoke zero English so it was basically just transportation from place to place with zero commentary or explanation of anything we were seeing. We hated ending it early because it was so expensive (240 euros) but we literally hated every minute of it. We thought that the golf cart tour looked much more relaxed and enjoyable and wished we had done that instead but we wanted to try something unique.

Exploring Rome with Manuel was an amazing experience from start to finish. He was incredibly kind and attentive to both me and my mom, always making sure we felt safe and comfortable. He took the time to thoroughly explain each site we visited, which made everything more meaningful and memorable. The Vespa sidecar experience was absolutely incredible—easily one of the most fun things we did in Rome. It was such a unique and exciting way to see the city. I highly recommend this Viator tour to anyone visiting Rome!

Aaaaaahmazing!!! Absolute best part of our trip. Matt was fabulous and so very knowledgable about Rome. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and also a couple of secret places that only the locals know. I can’t recommend this enough. SO MUCH FUN!!
