Versailles Golf carrello & Shuttle Tour Guidato, Borgo e Giardini

Here's an explanation as to why this tour could have been 5 starts but wasn't. Our guide Annie was amazing - we were late arriving due to issues on the metro (as was another couple) however Annie kindly waited for us. She was funny and offered to take photos for our group if needed. She offered some history about Versailles and the tour started strong. We were concerned that we would have missed parts of the tour due to being late but this is where things took a decline. There was ALOT of down time. We toured the gardens and then had a bathroom/coffee break while we waited for the shuttle to take us to the Petite Trianon (some chose to take bikes). We were at the rest stop for 1 HOUR... We then took the shuttle and viewed the Petit Trianon and the Hamlet - but people from our tour started to wander due to the length of the time it was taking from place to place. You could feel people getting restless on the tour. We then took a lunch break which was well over an hour - due to Angelina's being packed and it taking forever for some people to order their food. Here's where my main issue arose with Annie. She was asking us to leave Google reviews before the tour was finished, and when we asked if would have time to see Versailles and if we could leave the tour to head back, she said we all had to leave together and we couldn't get into Versailles without her and it was open until 7pm. WRONG. After lunch Annie and some of the others who decided to take bikes left prior to us with on the shuttle to get a head start. My family and four others took the shuttle back. We waited at our meeting point back at Versailles. At this point it was 4pm and what was supposed to be a 15 minute wait for the bikes was now 30 mins. I decided to try my luck and ask the staff at Versailles if we could enter with the tickets provided by Annie. Bingo. No issues. At this point our group was tired of the waiting and poor time management and all left the meeting point to go to Versailles. While we were inside Versailles Annie called me and asked if we were still waiting. I said we had gone into Versailles with the rest of our group. She said they had bike troubles so had to walk the bikes back. Thank God we decided to go into Versailles as to our surprise an announcement came on at 545 that Versailles was closing at 6PM. The time management was poor on this tour. I feel like we could have seen much more in a 6 hour tour.

We loved this tour. The guide, Aisha, was so kind and well-informed and made the experience special and interesting. The idea of using golf carts and shuttle made it possible for my husband who has some mobility challenges to enjoy himself as much as we all did. Bravo

Despite the golf carts there. Is still a significant amount of walking and climbing of stairs involved. However if you are fit enough it is well worth the effort, particularly around the extensive gardens and interior of the palace.

Great tour. Guide was excellent, very informative. Golf cart took our small group across the spacious gardens and a tram took us to the hamlets. Skip the line tickets allowed us to enter all sites immediately which was great..

The tour was fun and very informative. I would have thought we would have more golf cart with the tour. We did a lot of walking which was unexpected. The whole golf cart theme made it seem we wouldn't walk much at all, which wasn't ture. We spent a lot of time walking.

Wonderful tour. Gardens were amazing. Wish we had gone on the weekend when the fountains are on. Tour guide Carolina was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Worth every penny! No standing in long lines, concierge service the whole day. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The golf cart ride was fun and the snack time and lunch time breaks were perfectly timed.

This is a great tour with many options. Everyone was so accommodating and fun. Our tour guide, Amir, was incredible - extremely knowledgeable and attentive and made the day really fun. We highly recommend and would definitely book this tour again. 5 stars!

The golf cart tour at Versailles was an amazing experience and a fantastic way to explore the vast gardens. Riding through the grounds made it easy to see so much more than we could on foot while still feeling relaxed and immersive. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating history, hidden details, and great stories about the estate. It was well organized, comfortable, and perfect for taking in the beauty of Versailles at a leisure pace. I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again.

There are many interesting things about the grounds of Versailles that you will see on this tour. It is more complex than you would think.
