Piazza Bra è il centro della vita sociale veronese. Sulla piazza si affacciano la maestosa Arena e Palazzo Barbieri, sede del Comune. Da lì è possibile vedere anche il Palazzo Gran Guardia e il Museo Lapidario.
Questo incredibile anfiteatro romano fu costruito nel I secolo d.C. Il nome "arena" si riferisce alla sabbia che ricopriva il palco dove combattevano i gladiatori. Ad oggi è ancora utilizzato per spettacoli pubblici e concerti.
Piazza delle Erbe è l’antico foro romano della città. Al centro della piazza si trova la fontana di Madonna Verona, monumento che rappresenta la città come una bellissima donna. Oggi la piazza è un importante luogo di incontro per la gente del posto, vecchi e giovani.
La Casa di Giulietta è una tappa obbligata per tutti i visitatori della città che vogliono vedere il lato romantico di Verona. Risalente alla fine del XIII secolo, questa casa torre presenta il bassorilievo di un cappello che, secondo la tradizione, è lo stemma della Famiglia Capuleti. Ci fermeremo fuori in giardino, senza entrare.
Chiamata anche Piazza Dante, per la statua dedicata al più importante poeta italiano, Piazza dei Signori è incorniciata da diversi importanti edifici, come il Palazzo della Ragione e il Palazzo del Podestà. Qui è dove saluterai la tua guida.

This was a brilliant tour. Alessandro was so knowledgeable and he is clearly passionate about his home city. It really was the perfect way to familiarise us with the Verona. We did the 10.30am tour and were finished by lunchtime. Alessandro was really good at pointing out great places to eat and drink. One to which we returned after the tour and had the best focaccia pizza ever. Would highly recommend this tour. Thanks!
Unfortunately we took an evening tour, (in addition, the tour was postponed 1h from 17.30 to 18.30) and all the cozy and nice places we saw and got tips about were closed when we were done with the tour. Super nice guide that I forgot the name of.

Alessandro is SUPERB--I've been on many guided tours throughout Italy and this may have been the very best. He's deeply knowledgeable, articulate (with easy to understand English), and just solid in every way. Through the entire tour he wove together fascinating history of this city with countless recommendations of restaurants and gelateria. He truly helped us fall in love with Verona. If we were here longer we'd take his food & wine tour for sure.
