I loved giulia! She was amazing informative and kind. Showed us the 3 islands of Venice, it was not an option on the list, but it was a beautiful experience and the water taxi was great! Thank you again :) 3 hours
Valentina was terrific to be amazing. We met all the fantastic places we will have not been able to see without her.
We had fun of lifetime and will recommend Valentina to everyone!!
Julia is personable, knowledgable, and a pleasure to spend a half day with and learn from a true Venetian. She filled our time with the colors of the islands of Venice and her stories. Terrific ;)
We did a family of 3 private boat ride to Murano, Burano and some small islands. We got to see the glass factory and do the tour there. Everything was beautiful and everyone so friendly. Even left with a beautiful hand made glass pitcher. Barbara our tour guide was so helpful, professional, thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable. We loved the tours because of her. We got to stroll the islands and it was lovely. We also got to ride around the grand canal which was amazing! Overall a perfect day!
It was well organized very informative and our tour guide guila was very friendly and kind. This tour from Venezia was well worth the trip in beautiful Murano Italy
Great boat tour with interesting information about the city. It was also really great that our guide Giulia is actually from Venice and had a lot of detailed knowledge. Additionally, she is super nice and friendly!
Giulia with LivTours is AMAZING! A native Venetian, she was fun, informative, flexible and made our experience a memorable excursion for our entire family . . . young and old! Highly recommend Giulia!
We spent a delightful morning with Barbara. She was a wonderful host and guide her love of all things Venetian was contagious.
If you’re on the fence about booking a private Grand Canal tour—do it, and book it with Giulia. From the moment our sleek water taxi pulled up, she made Venice feel both grand and intimate. Giulia’s storytelling is the perfect blend of history, architecture, and lived-in local detail. As we cruised past palazzi I’ve seen in a thousand photos, she painted vivid portraits of the families, floods, and fortunes behind those facades. What I loved most: she didn’t just stick to the Grand Canal. We slipped into quieter waterways, saw parts of Venice we would have otherwise missed, and got insights you can only hear from a local. Her pacing was spot on—enough facts to feel enriched, never overwhelming. Pro tips: book around golden hour for gorgeous light, bring a light layer (breezy on the water), and have questions—Giulia loves them. This was the highlight of our time in Venice and worth every minute. Highly, highly recommend.
