Incontrerai la tua Guida davanti all'Ex Cinema Teatro Italia di Cannaregio aperto nel 1916 come grande teatro e cinema, con suggestivi dettagli Art Nouveau e Neogotico. Oggi, è stato trasformato in un supermercato conservando soffitti affrescati e decorazioni decorate, rendendolo uno dei gioielli nascosti più sorprendenti di Venezia.
Il Ghetto Ebraico di Venezia è una zona storica e culturalmente ricca di Cannaregio, istituita nel 1516 come primo ghetto al mondo. Oggi, rimane un vivace quartiere con sinagoghe secolari, musei ebraici, panetterie tradizionali e botteghe artigiane. Passeggiando per i suoi cortili tranquilli e le sue stradine strette offre uno sguardo unico sulla storia, il patrimonio e la vita quotidiana veneziana.

Such a brilliant way to spend the day! We were lucky to have Marina as our guide - such a positive, experienced and caring guide! We loved her enthusiasm, insight and knowledge. Marina took us to a side of Venice we had not explored, introduced us to food we had not had, and provided variations of local drinks we’d not tried. Loved it!

Amazing Secret food tour in Venice, Carlotta our tour guide was amazing, showing us around Venice , the unknown spots of Venice, and the chance to take a small gondola ride too! The guide was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and passionate about the city, food and culture. Unfortunately, it was only four stars due to the experience with the group. It had many picky eaters and folks that couldn’t walk far. I commend the guide for working so well with everyone. She did the best she could but it did take away from the experience for those that were really into the food drink and learning as much as possible.

The food tour was amazing. Gives you so much insight into the better lest touristy places to sample food and drink. The highlight for us was going to Ormesini (highly recommend going there if you want something to eat away from the hustle and bustle) for the fried sandwich , prosecco and risotto.and finishing up and Rosa Salva for some sweet treats. Carlotta was the perfect guide, through the tour. Friendly, smiley, knowledgeable and just happy to chat about anything as you stroll along the canals. She takes the stress away of trying to narrow the Hugh amount of choices of where to go for something to eat and drink. If you want to experience the Benicia food scene and how the locals eat and go about their day, then I highly recommend booking.

Irene was a wonderful guide and we learned so much from her, both about the food and the broader cultural context.
