Itinerario

Our Venice day tour with Carrani Tours was absolutely flawless, thanks to our wonderful guide Graziella! The tour started punctually from Café Trombetta, and the high-speed train journey to Venice was smooth and comfortable. Graziella led us on a fascinating walking tour all the way to St. Mark’s Basilica, sharing the rich heritage and history of Venice at every turn — her knowledge brought the city to life! The aperitivo stop at H2NO was a delightful touch, giving us a true taste of Venetian life. Throughout the day, Graziella was sweet, attentive, and always smiling. She was unfailingly polite, kept our whole group together, and safely guided us in and out of Venice’s maze of streets and canals without a hitch, right up to the walk back to the station. She genuinely ensured everyone had a fantastic time. If you’re visiting Rome and want a perfect Venice day trip, ask for Graziella — she’s a gem! Highly recommend Carrani Tours. Five stars!
Great experience as it was our first time in Venice! Graziella was very professional, informative, and nice.
We did out tour with Carrani tours - full day trip from Rome to Venice and back . We were picked up from the pick up spot on the dot at 6.35 am. We reached Venice after a 4.5 hour journey by train. The guide Grazielia took us on a guided tour for an hour. Thereafter we took the Gandola ride and the water taxi. We did our shopping as well. We stopped at a cafe for a Happy hour. We returned to Rome by the evening train leaving at 6.25 pm. Grazielia was a friendly guide who took us around with a smiling face. We had an enjoyable tour of Venice. 😊
It was a good day, although when we left the group, we got lost. Alessandro was in constant communication to guide us back to where we needed to be. We had a great adventure and everything worked out well.
The guide Alessendro is super friendly, knowledgable and the schedule was well-arranged. Love all the recommendations! Highly recommended!
Yohana was amazing! She was so helpful and very trustworthy! She knew lots of information and was always very willing to help us
A nice experience. The guide Alexandro explained everything to us very well and simply. The suggestions he gave us were very accurate. Without a doubt, I would recommend it to friends and family.
The driving and approach, empathy, and treatment provided by Rossela were extraordinary. I congratulate you for having a guide who is so humane and passionate about her profession.
Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the beauty and stories of Venice. She advised us of the “true” Venusian stores and pick pockets/ gypsies to look out for. You do have to be aware. We had a few hiccups on this tour. The information given is misleading. Departure time said 7:30, but to arrive 15 minutes early. Then on a separate part of the page it says to arrive at 7am. So, were we then supposed to arrive at 6:45? The information really wasn’t clear. We also clearly were grouped in with a Spanish speaking tour, as we were one of the only people who spoke English there. But, half the tour when we got there we had to wait for the English translation. This is not a fully self guided tour as advertised. It was almost 2 hours of walking us through Venace, which is great if you’re there for the tour and the history. Just know that’s a part of it. We only had from about 2:00 until 6:00 meeting point after she let us go off on our own. By that point we were starving and needed water very badly as she advised us not to drink from the water fountains there. There was absolutely no happy hour anywhere or even told to us. So, I dont know why that’s included in the title. It’s very misleading. The 4.9 review on this tour may have gotten a different experience than we did, I guess. Maybe they should revise the information on this tour page just so people know what they’re buying. Overall, it was still the most affordable way to enjoy Venice.
Graziella was an amazing tour guide! We really appreciated how easy she made the entire day and also her knowledge of Venice. The tour was a great balance between being guided through Venice and having ample time to explore on our own.
