Il Ponte di Rialto è il più antico dei quattro ponti che attraversano il Canal Grande a Venezia, Italia. Collegando i sestieri (quartieri) di San Marco e San Polo, è stato ricostruito più volte dalla sua prima costruzione come ponte di pontone nel 1173, ed è ora una significativa attrazione turistica della città.
Piazza San Marco rappresenta il cuore di Venezia, dove stupire diversi monumenti architettonici storici come la Basilica, che prende il nome anche da San Marco, o gli edifici rinascimentali lungo i lati lunghi della piazza. Ma c'è qualcosa di più: sapevi che camminare in Piazza San Marco in realtà significa camminare nell'unica piazza di Venezia? La piazza è sempre bellissima, anche quando è allagata dall'acqua della laguna: un'esperienza insolita e impressionante per gente del posto e turisti.
Il Canal Grande di Venezia (Canal Grande) è la principale via d'acqua della città, che serpeggia a forma di S attraverso il cuore della città. Il canale è fiancheggiato da magnifici palazzi ed edifici storici che mettono in mostra il ricco arazzo dell'architettura veneziana. Attraversato da quattro ponti, tra cui il famoso Ponte di Rialto, il canale è una tappa obbligata quando si visita Venezia.

The ghost tour never happened and the company still has not refunded me my money. Beware! I would not recommend them to anyone.
We are very sorry that your ghost tour did not take place and for the inconvenience this caused. To clarify what happened, your booking was made through Viator at around 8:00 PM for a tour scheduled just one hour later, at 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, due to a technical communication error between Viator and our booking system, the reservation did not reach our internal system. Had the connection worked correctly, the tour would not have appeared as available, as availability had already been closed for that evening and our office was outside operating hours. Regarding the refund, CityEyes is an independent tour operator selling experiences through the Viator marketplace. Viator manages the payment process directly, including refunds. As soon as we became aware of the situation the following morning, at 7:00 AM, we immediately approved a full refund from our side. From that point, the timing depends on Viator and the bank or credit card provider used for the payment. Refunds usually take 3 to 5 business days to appear on the customer’s statement, and we are confident that you will receive the refund within the expected timeframe. We are sure you will understand that this was an unfortunate technical issue between systems, not a refusal to operate the tour or refund the payment. We apologize again for the disruption and hope to have the opportunity in the future to show you the level of service reflected in the thousands of 5-star experiences our guests share every year. Alex was absolutely amazing! He was passionate about the stories he was telling and did this in an incredibly immersive way. We relived the stories right where they supposed to have happened. The legends were told in the most interesting and humourous way to lighten the mood after the darkest and most horrific stories. During the walk to the locations he sprinkled it with recent and ancient history. We learned a lot about the way locals live here as well. This wxperience was absolutely perfect and we would redo this any time! Absolutely worth booking this with Alex!
Manuela was AMAZING!! She’s a native of Venice and is from multiple generations going back hundreds of years in Venice. She knows everything about the city, tells engaging stories, historical and personal experiences and kept all of us, including our teen boys fully engaged in every way. She’s funny, animated and clearly loves her job. She also has a YouTube channel & produces videos about visiting Venice and Italy. It was exactly what we were looking for and would highly recommend this tour and Manuela! She has 7 gondoliers in her family! You don’t get more Venetian than that! She took us to her favorite gelato place, recommended non-touristy restaurants & parts of the city to visit, explained the architecture, how Venice began and it’s importance on the Silk Road, Marco Polo’s family, etc. we saw so much of the city in such a short period of time but never felt rushed. I can’t say enough!! Manuela is the best!!!

For an ancient city, we heard remarkably few ghost stories or even creepy myths. It was more of an evening walking tour of Venice with a few (not particularly interesting stories that lacked suspense). The guide was nice enough but - after having taken ghost tours in a number of other cities - we found this one disappointing. In short, if you're looking for a real ghost tour, don't pick this tour. If you want a pleasant enough evening stroll, this works.

We had a fantastic experience on Venice on this tour. Our guide, Giovanna, met us at our hotel, and we agreed on a route that allowed us to see the most of Venice without seeing places we had already been. She asked about our particular interests and tailored the talk to them. She was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer every question we asked, including some on more recent history (second World War). As to the tour itself - we’ll, you can’t really go wrong with sightseeing Venice! It was fun to learn some of the ghost stories and superstitions, and Giovanna pointed out details I certainly would not have noticed. But the tour was much more, and I learned how the city came to be originally, and some of the very interesting things about the architecture that I had been noticing were explained. She also very kindly provided us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations for the rest of our visit. I would book again with Eyes of Rome in a heartbeat.
