At first, it was a mess; they changed my schedule, and since I couldn't make it, I had to reorganize everything to do it another day. Extremely expensive for the quality of the service. It is better to buy the tickets in advance on the website. The guide is very friendly.

This was a terrible experience—don’t book with this company. Of all the tours I’ve done, this is the closest I’ve seen to a scam. When I arrived at the meeting point, I was told the tour had been cancelled because the Vatican Museums had reached capacity and instructed City Tours to inform customers that all tours for the day were cancelled. However, this seemed untrue, as another staff member had just taken a different group into the museum shortly before, which made the explanation feel misleading.

Horrible. Last minute cancellation by tour guide. Still no refund has been given. Do not book this tour. Unprofessional.

The tour was horrible from start to finish. We booked via Viator for 2pm and upon arriving at the agreed departure location, the tour would only leave at 3pm. After waiting an hour, we came back and found a completely impatient guide, who wasn't waiting for anyone and gave shallow explanations. It would be much better to look at a website on the subject. The end was even worse: we arrived at the dome entrance at 5:05 pm (I swear, it seems like it was on purpose) and the entrance closed at 5 pm (didn't the guide know this? Or did he do it on purpose to pocket the tickets that were already included in the price 40 euros!?). When asking for a refund, I have been being deceived by the operator for almost a week. Avoid this scam!

Tour scheduled for 2pm, went to the meeting point and they had postponed it without previous warning to 3pm. But it was only the beginning. Tour guide not very friendly and gave us really fast explanations, we felt like he was trying to do it really fast to leave. The tour included the Dome (we paid for it and it was not cheap!) but the guy took us to the entrance of the dome 5:03 pm, the entrance to the dome was closed by 5pm (he should of course know it and take care that we get there on time). So he told us simply he didn’t know what to do, turned around and got away with the money to buy the dome tickets. Hope we still get the partial refund, but definitely get away from this operator.

David was hands down the absolute best tour guide we have ever had…anywhere! We actually were sad when it was over! His humor was on point and information was endless. I truly enjoyed each and every minute with him. My mother, husband, son and I did his colosseum guided tour and we are still talking about him. Highly recommend David and any tour he has to offer in this spectacular country. He will NOT disappoint!!

Amazing and incredible place with a long history. Unbelievable place. At night it’s more beautiful. I advise to visit.

We had the colosseum tour with Sarah. She was knowledgeable, funny, and the tour was a nice length. Afterwards you can wonder around for as long as you like, which is nice :)
