La spiaggia di Varkala si trova 39 km a nord della capitale Thiruvananthapuram e 28 km a sud di Kollam
Varkala Beach, conosciuta anche come Papanasham Beach, è una spiaggia rocciosa situata nella città di Virala nel distretto di Thiruvananthapuram
Varkala Lighthouse, una delle strutture degne di nota del distretto.

Varkala is a 90 minutes travel from Kovalam by car. Any one can have a day trip here. There are number of shops available for good shopping also.

who wants to experience a beautiful beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Kovalam: Here he is, please. There's a freshwater spring there. A river flows into the sea and Indian pilgrims are blessed here by priests.

I along with my 3 children and husband had approached Expertise Travel for a one day beach tour as my children are crazy about swimming and I felt beach would be the best relaxation point.
