Descrizione

This tour took us to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, Lapataia Bay, the end of the pan american highway and a visit to the Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino (convict railway)museum. Our guide and driver prepared some Mate Cocido for us at the stop to watch the train go by and the guide explained the genocide history of the Selk'nam. The only negative was that communication about pickup at the ship was problematic for us and we almost missed the tour.
Really great experience. Tour guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable,, a great day and learnt loads.
This was a well organized and interesting excursion. Our guide, Diego, was really good - very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to. He was always making sure we were having a good time
A fantastic tour which we really enjoyed. Pablo was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into the history of the area and the natural environment. Well organised and we got to see a lot of the area. Would highly recommend.
Andie (Andreas) the guide was very informative throughout the tour giving us facts and figures about Ushuaia and the National Park. The tour started early so we could be ahead of the crowds going into the park. Enjoyed the stop near the railway line for a snack and drink before heading back to Ushuaia.
We had a great tour to the national park. Our driver was excellent and our guide was fantastic. She gave us so much information during our tour. I liked all the insight to living life in Ushuaia. She was very personable and went above and beyond. We would have loved to walk a little more in the park but it began to drizzle rain. Very nice experience.
There were 20 of us on a small bus. Easy to find on the pier. Overall saw all the sites the shore excursions from our ship did with way less hassle
The very clean 16-seater minibus was waiting for us right at the bottom of the ship's gangway, so we didn't have to walk down the long dock. Communication in the days leading up to the tour from the tour operator was excellent. The road turns to gravel just outside Ushuaia. The scenery inside the National Park was a bit scrubby, but the scenery from the viewpoints was fantastic. The post-office-at-the-end-of-the-world is now permanently closed but remains as just a colourful shed on a wharf. All advertised aspects of the tour were covered very well. The highlight for me was when we had morning tea, where our excellent guide brought out some maps and explained in great detail the geography and history of the region, as well as the culture of the local people. our morning tea consisted of tea, coffee, mate, a bottle each of glacial water and a local biscuit. We could also pick wild blueberries (sour) while waiting for the steam train to pass. This five hour tour cost us A$365.58 for the two of us, plus A$30 each entry into the national park. When we got back to the ship there were horror stories about some of the excursions so we were very glad we picked this one. Well done Ushuaia Shore Excursions.
Wonderful guide and driver! The itinerary was short and provided a glimpse of the park. The crowds were terrible with this itinerary possibly being the most popular. Buses and fellow tourists made the stops too congested to enjoy much of the “nature”. However there was a very bright spot and that was the weather and our last stop. Away from the crowds to a meadow to view wild horses up close and enjoy our guide’s hospitality with refreshments. Excellent and most enjoyable.
A good tour of the National Park, our Tour Guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The vehicle was very clean and well maintained. Nice little picnic of beverages and cookies which was unsuspected.
