Descrizione

We will start from the eerie Capuchin Crypt, where art and bones meet in a haunting tribute. Then we will venture beneath a modern mall to discover a stretch of the ancient Aqua Virgo aqueduct (made in 19 BC!) still active to this day, and we will follow its waters to the iconic Trevi Fountain. Later, we will stroll through the alleys of Rome to reach the Pantheon, the best-preserved pagan temple of ancient Rome. To conclude our journey we will set foot in the Piazza Navona, an unforgettable piece of astonishing Baroque beauty. This tour is more than a checklist, it’s a deep dive into Rome's visible glory and invisible past. With a passionate local guide, you’ll experience a balance of must-see landmarks and off-the-beaten-path discoveries, all within walking distance. This tour is ideal for adventurous travelers who want to go beyond the surface of Rome.

Itinerario

Giuseppe was a great guide. The crypts were inside a museum and the aqueduct inside a shopping mall!! Not what I expected but still a great tour. Very unique experience and we saw a part of the party of the city we had not been in.
Grazie
Riccardo is so knowledgeable about the history of Rome. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend! Thank you Riccardo!
Thank you for your review. I will let Riccardo know about your feedback. Thank you for participating and supporting our project. Marco.
Giuseppe was amazing. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. We truly loved our interaction with him. The tour was a bit long for us, as we’d done a long tour just before it, but we truly loved Giuseppe.
Thank you very much.
Our tour was very informative and interesting. Our tour guide Giuseppe was very knowledgeable and gave us some insight to the Crypts and Aquaducts history .. well worth the visit..
Thank you for your review. we hope to meet you again, Marco.
Arrived 45 minutes early at correct meeting point. After 55 minutes tried to contact operator by web chat and got no response. Rang Viator. After about 20 mins or so on the phone it was established that tour guide didn’t know it was booked. At least we got an immediate refund! Big shame as wasted a lot of time on our short trip to Rome.
Robert I beg your pardon, you are absolutely right. But the problem was that there was a misunderstanding between the management that collects the reservations and the assignment to the guide. When you tried to contact us, I was in hospital with my wife having an accident and I could not do more, at that moment, than make you an immediate refund. Sorry for the unnecessary waiting time. If you are in Rome, or when you return, it will be my pleasure to give you a tour to apologize for the inconvenience. Marco.
Riccardo was excellent - we got a personalized tour, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about his home city. He took time to explain a lot of things, and he was patient with my mom's walking pace, as we covered enough steps to make us lose a kilo or two!!! Just kidding about weight loss - but the tour was great... Highly recommended with caveat - bring your walking shoes!!!
Thanks for your kind review. I will forward your feedback to Riccardo and thank you for visiting some hidden treasures of our city with us. Marco.
Riccardo was a great guide, thankyou! He made the tour more interesting than the standard and we learned a great deal about lesser known sites of Rome.
