Le grotte sotterranee sono uno dei luoghi più suggestivi da visitare sull'isola di Terceira. Questo tour include la visita alla Grotta del Natal (tubo di lava) e all'Algar do Carvão (interno del vulcano), nonché alle famose Furnas de Enxofre (fumarole) e all'area ricreativa Lagoa das Patas.

Itinerario
La prima tappa del tour sarà in un luogo segreto chiamato Lagoa das Patas. In questo luogo è possibile visitare il torrente che nasce dalla Serra de Sta Bárbara, visitare la Laguna e interagire con animali come anatre e alcuni uccelli. È una zona di svago piena di vita e natura!
Qui visiteremo la famosa Gruta Natal e Lagoa do Negro. A questa fermata, hai l'opportunità di camminare attraverso i tunnel di lava realizzati da madre natura e vedere da vicino la Lagoa do Negro.
Furnas do Enxofre è costituito da un'area che comprende diversi sbocchi di gas vulcanici aggressivi a diverse temperature, alcune piuttosto elevate. Ha un piccolo sentiero pedonale che permette di osservare da vicino il fumo di zolfo.
Abbiamo visitato l'interno di un vulcano nel centro dell'isola di Terceira! Un'esperienza indimenticabile da ricordare per tutta la vita.

Enjoyed this tour with Jamie during our 4th full day on Terceira. Very interesting areas of the island we had yet to see, and the information provided by Jamie made the experience that much better. Walking through the inside of a volcano was a first for me. Thank you again!

Wonderful tour of the lava tubes and the interior of a volcano in the middle of the island. André was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, sincere and respectful. He sent a message ahead of time to let me know the pickup time which was a great help. Comfortable van. I will go again with this company.

While the weather did not cooperate, we still had a fun tour of lava tube and volcano. The weather meant we skipped the fumarole, but James gave us some extra time at Quinta dos Azores - for coffee and a snack Also we had delightful stop at the duck lagoon. Very peaceful.

I didnt want to hire a car to visit the central part of Terceira, so booked the half day van trip at the last minute. Easy pick up and great commentary from Andrea about the island. Visited four sites, each beautiful in its own way. Met all my expectations.
