Con una passeggiata tra i quartieri storici di Stampace e Marina, vedremo il Tunnel-Rifugio della Scuola Salesiana, un tunnel privato lungo 120 metri utilizzato durante la seconda guerra mondiale come riparo per gli studenti della scuola dai bombardamenti. Oggi, il tunnel sembra quasi un luogo mistico con i suoi portici in mattoni rossi, illuminati dalla luce soffusa delle candele. Continueremo il tour alla scoperta della magnifica cripta di Santa Restituta, con le sue affascinanti storie, e termineremo con una visita all’Area Archeologica di Sant’Eulalia alla scoperta delle sue sorprendenti rovine sotterranee. A very educational, comprehensive, and historical tour through the underground tunnel systems. Also included were the interesting visits to the Cripta di Restituta and the excavations of the Museu sistema museale Sant‘ Eulatia. Our tour guide also explained things to us in both English and Italian. In conclusion, a very interesting and highly recommended tour.

Tour guide was phenomenal, she spoke very good English and kept track of everyone really well. This is definitely worth it if you’re interested in bits of history about Cagliari. It’s also about 10 degrees cooler underground.

We did the tour early in the morning, and it was a nice way to start our first day here. The first stop has a nice ambiance with all the candles, the 2nd and 3rd are more museum style. The guide was fluent in English and explained everything nicely.
