Un tour privato di un'intera giornata a Prison Island + Nakupenda + Stone Town

Questo tour è una combinazione di tre diverse attrazioni di Zanzibar e insieme ti permettono di esplorarle nello stesso giorno con l'aiuto della nostra Guida qualificata e certificata. Il tour inizia normalmente a Stone Town dove prendiamo una barca a motore che impiega circa 25 minuti per Prison Island dove visitiamo il Santuario delle Tartarughe Giganti di Terra, i Pavoni, le Rovine della Prigione e la spiaggia e poi prendiamo di nuovo una barca per portarci a Nakupenda per circa 35 minuti di viaggio, a Nakupenda dove trascorriamo la maggior parte del tour e qui normalmente nuotiamo, facciamo snorkeling, facciamo foto e godiamo anche il pranzo a base di pesce con barbecue sulla spiaggia preparato dal nostro staff. Il tour continuerà a Stone Town che è la nostra ultima parte del tour e qui normalmente visitiamo diversi edifici storici, piccoli bazar, souvenir e Stone Town Market con l'aiuto della nostra Guida professionale.

Prison Island, conosciuta anche come Changuu Island, si trova a circa 25 - 30 minuti in barca a motore in legno da Zanzibar Stone Town ed è qui che visiterai le rovine della prigione costruite dal generale Lloyd Mathews nel 1893 e da qui il nome Prison Island. Il Tour prevede la visita al Santuario delle tartarughe giganti di Aldabra portate dal Governatore Britannico delle Seychelles nel 1919 come dono al Sultano di Zanzibar. Durante il tour potrete visitare il santuario delle tartarughe giganti terrestri, dei pavoni e le rovine della prigione. Il tour ti offrirà anche la possibilità di nuotare nell'acqua cristallina, prendere il sole e fare snorkeling nella barriera corallina più vicina prima di tornare a Nakupenda per un'altra esperienza.
Questo è un banco di sabbia che si trova a circa 55 km da Prison Island ed è qui che il tour porterà i viaggiatori subito dopo la visita a Prison Island. qui tutti i viaggiatori avranno l'opportunità di esplorare il banco di sabbia per circa 3 ore prima di tornare a Stone Town. Our agent was the one that booked the tour for us and we didn’t have any idea of what was there for us to expect however everything turned out great Thanks to our guide, Yakoub and the whole team for proper arrangements and communications. We were on this guided tour with a man named Hemed. I would like to appreciate his excellent service rendered on this day. He was helpful, respectful, engaging and welcoming. He made sure we had all the necessary information for us to enjoy ourselves and make the most of our activities. He is the best tour guide in Zanzibar for me. Hakuna matata.
Gorgeous locations. We started off at home, picked up from our Airbnb by a driver who took us to the beach on stone island, and then we took a wooden boat that didn’t go that fast but was captained well, with our guide, to prison island for a look at tortoises, dik diks, peacocks, a museum, and the beach. There was no swimming or sunbathing at this point contrary to the description. Nakupenda was beautiful, it’s a strip of land without anywhere to change. So swimsuit on from home is good. The water was clear and gorgeous. We had a seafood lunch with calamari, fried fish, and fries, and cut fruit (bananas, watermelon, and pineapple) made by our captain and his first mate after setting up our tent. You can take photos or a video shoot with drones at an extra cost. But we got to swim and snorkel with help from our able captain. Now to the downsides… it was not very well organized I have to say! Our guide was so confused multiple times about who would pay for tickets and took a while to find us at the start. After the excellent guide experience of the Serengeti where we learnt a lot and had our itinerary and steps given to us at various points, the minimalist style to this tour wasn’t appealing… the boat we were taken in had our food in the dirtiest cooler I’ve ever seen with a large cockroach crawling out! There was no snorkeling equipment. Hope this helps!

From start to finish our tour was amazing. Our Guide Ali made us feel so welcomed just by the time we met. Same with our Driver, Yussuf who made sure we were safe all the time during the trip. Credits to the boat guy who helped us get to the island safely and made us very delicious food. Recommended 100%.
Our Guide was with us throughout the trip. We started at Stone Town where we got into a private boat to Prison Island to see Giant Tortoises and The ruins and later to Nakupenda Sandbank where we enjoyed the sunbathing, seafood BBQ with tropical fruits and soft drinks. We spent almost two hours at Nakupenda and finally left for Stone Town walking Tour before we took our way back to the hotel. Ali really was a great guide.
The guide was very nice although I had no idea of Spanish, due to lack of understanding did not let us take basic things from the suitcase like a towel... Lovely turtles, worth going to see; good lunch on nakupenda, a sandbank where hours fly
