Ed took us to the best places. We loved Jerome & the DA Ranch winery was definitely one of the most beautiful wineries I’ve ever been to! I could have stayed there all day! Ed was very attentive & informative, but still gave us our space. When we come back to Arizona, we will definitely book another tour just the longer one next time!! We enjoyed every minute, Ed is so knowledgeable & worldy & I loved hearing all his stories. Highly recommended!!!

The Wine Tours of Sedona "Sedona & Verde Valley Tour - Wine, Chocolate, Beer. & Lunch Tour" was everything we expected and more. If you enjoy wine this is the tour for you. Great wines & all the proprietors were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to a really great spot for lunch. I had a tasting flight of four great wines with my meal. I would greatly recommend this tour. Oh, I almost forgot the chocolates were exceptional. All in all, a great day.

Jim was clearly knowledgeable about grapes and passionate about Arizona wines, which we appreciated. However, for the $225 per person cost, we expected a more substantial experience. Visiting only two wineries and receiving just 8 tastings felt underwhelming for the price. We were hoping for a more immersive or extensive tour to match the premium cost.

The tour you selected includes two wine tasting flights at thoughtfully chosen venues, a knowledgeable guide, private transportation, and personalized service throughout. These elements were all delivered as promised and outlined at the time of booking. That said, we understand everyone has different expectations when it comes to wine experiences. Some guests prioritize a deeper educational focus and conversation, while others are seeking more volume or variety in tastings. If you were looking for a tour that included more stops or additional flights, we do offer longer and more extensive experiences that may be a better fit for future visits. I, along with a 23-person bachelorette party, booked a "multi-winery" tour and had a terrible experience from beginning to end. We were met with multiple downgrades after booking the reservation and EXTRA FEES for services that were supposed to be included in our package. We were baited with the promise of being shuttled from our airbnb to multiple wineries but were told just days before our booking that it would be downgraded to only ONE winery at no discount. We were also promised a shuttle to pick us up from our airbnb to the wineries. We were then told last-minute that they did not have a large enough shuttle to accommodate our group of 23 people and they would need to charge us another $1500 to secure a 3rd party shuttle. They then proceeded to further downgrade us to one small shuttle because they did not research our airbnb location and did not know that the shuttle could not pick us up there. This small shuttle would go back and forth to carry a few people to a church nearby, making multiple trips. This would have added an additional one hour to transport everyone to the winery. All of these changes were relayed to us the DAY before our booking. When we called to express our dissatisfaction with their services, they refused to match their pricing with the downgrades in service. They only offered a "few bottles of wine" which is quite frankly a complete insult to us. Throughout our multiple calls with them, we were gaslit and blamed by the owner, Jim. We cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unethical their business practices are. Please stay away from Wine Tours of Sedona at all cost, as they have no remorse in ruining someone's special occasion for profit.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with us didn’t meet your expectations, as our priority is always to provide exceptional service and create memorable experiences. Regarding your booking, I want to emphasize that we were fully transparent about the costs and logistics involved in accommodating a group of your size. Initially, your booking was made online for 10 people, and a week later, you let us know there would be an additional 13 guests. This understandably required significant changes to the logistics, including arranging additional shuttles and coordinating with our vendors. To accommodate your larger group, we went above and beyond by arranging additional transportation, including shuttles capable of navigating the challenging dirt road to your remote vacation rental. This was a unique logistical challenge, but we were in constant communication with you—even up until 10 PM the night before the tour—to ensure that all details were handled to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, less than 12 hours before the tour start time, you requested to cancel, at which point we had already paid our vendors for a motorcoach and made the necessary arrangements. This late notice put us in a position where we couldn’t recover those costs, which we had communicated to you clearly. We understand that changes to plans can be frustrating, but every adjustment we made was with your group’s needs and the logistics in mind. We regret that these efforts weren’t reflected in your experience. While we offered the option to continue the tour as planned or provide compensation through additional offerings, it seems this did not meet your expectations, and for that, we are truly sorry. We sincerely hope that you can see our intent was never to “bait and switch” or cause dissatisfaction, but rather to ensure that your large group’s tour could happen as smoothly as possible despite last-minute challenges. We’re disappointed to hear that you feel otherwise, as this does not reflect how we strive to operate. We appreciate your feedback and will use it as an opportunity to improve communication and manage expectations better in the future. I don't know where to begin with how awesome Jim and this tour were! Accommodating doesn't begin to describe Jim - and there is nothing that he cares more about than ensuring you have the best time possible and we seriously couldn't have had a better day. When Jim tells you this tour is custom to you, he's not kidding - just tell him what wines you like, don't like or even if you want to change it up to accommodate your husband (who doesn't drink a lot of wine) and add a brewery stop, done! He makes it happen and everywhere we went was absolutely wonderful. And did I mention he made it a dog-friendly tour?! Every stop (except for one we specifically requested) was dog-friendly - and at the one that wasn't, Jim walked our little guy while we did our tasting. Seriously, everything about this tour was above and beyond. Jim's knowledge of the area and the wineries demonstrates how much he loves what he does and you can tell the wineries and local businesses really appreciate him too. I cannot recommend Jim and his company more! He has several tours to pick from or he'll happily work with you to create one just for you. If you're heading to the Sedona area, this is a must-do!!

Jim, Larry and I had an excellent day visiting Javalina Leap Winery with you. You knew exactly the right winery to take us to. Not only did we enjoy the wine tasting, but the experience we got of touring of the wine making facility with you, Tyler and the other guys was the highlight of the day. We had the best experience with Jim from Wine Tours of Sedona. Jim picked my husband and I up promptly at our resort and proceeded to take us on a tour of two local vineyards, Oak Creek Vineyards and Javelina Leap. Throughout our tour Jim engaged us in delightful and educational conversation, pointing out points of interest along the way. At each stop he made sure that we were well taken care of, working with the staff at each location making sure we were comfortable and attended to. He made excellent recommendations and spoke knowledgeably about each wine and it’s fermentation process - he truly feels passionate about wine and it shows! The wine was wonderful and we were able to sample nearly 20 different varieties throughout our tour. In addition to the wine, Jim made excellent site and food recommendations, even going so far as to call one of the places he recommended to get us a reservation for that night and dropping us off there at the end of our tour - 100% above and beyond. As a final note, I really appreciated that Jim took pictures of me and my husband at notable stops along the way; as we usually travel alone, we don’t have a lot of pictures of the two of us together that capture the memories from our trips. Without a doubt, you must do this tour if you are a wine lover visiting Sedona. Two thumbs up!

We have nothing but rave reviews for this tour with Jim. We started out buying chocolates, enjoyed a wine tasting at Oak Creek vineyard followed by lunch and another wine tasting at Javelin Leap. The wines were great and the food was very tasty. Jim is an excellent tour guide! He even let us add on an additional hour to the tour (which we spent at the Art of Wine). We would definitely do this again!
