Una visita guidata attraverso Amsterdam con un locale. Durante questo tour ti parlerò della vita ad Amsterdam, nei Paesi Bassi e un po' di storia generale, ti mostrerò cose che non potresti trovare da solo e ti darò consigli. Soprattutto, cerchiamo di capire il cuore dell'esperienza olandese attraverso un concetto unicamente olandese che chiamiamo "Gezelligheid". 'Che cosa significa?' potresti chiederti. Beh, non è traducibile. 'Gezelligheid' è qualcosa che si può solo sperimentare - ed è quello che faremo! Durante il tour, ti porterò nei luoghi imperdibili come Piazza Dam, il quartiere a luci rosse e la Casa di Rembrandt, ma anche in alcuni luoghi segreti che non troverai mai da solo! Potremmo anche prendere alcune prelibatezze tradizionali olandesi come "Stroopwafel" o "Bitterballen" se vogliamo alzare al massimo il "gezelligheid". Se vuoi vedere di più della città, aggiungi semplicemente ore al tour e possiamo modificarlo tra 3 e 6 ore.

Qui vedremo due dei siti più iconici di Amsterdam, che ogni viaggiatore deve vedere. È il monumento ai caduti in Piazza Dam, e il Palazzo Reale proprio di fronte. La piazza funge anche da luogo per manifestazioni, proteste e raduni moderni di cui posso raccontarvi tutto. Vediamo cosa hanno in serbo per noi durante la nostra visita!
Il nostro centro commerciale più grande e lussuoso. Troverai tutte le migliori marche qui al livello principale, ma gli altri livelli hanno molto di più da offrire. Venivo qui con mia nonna a prendere un tè e una torta di mele.
La prima e la più antica borsa valori del mondo. Originariamente nato per vendere azioni della Compagnia delle Indie Orientali, la società che ha reso ricca Amsterdam. Sono stati i primi ad avere l'idea di vendere azioni, quindi questo posto è il luogo di nascita della moderna borsa valori.
Il quartiere a luci rosse è ben noto al mondo esterno. Il posto è in continuo mutamento e ha un carattere diverso ogni decennio. Lascia che ti dica le ultime novità durante il nostro tour, mentre ti guido in sicurezza.
Questo è il cuore della città nel Medioevo. Ospita l'edificio del XV secolo noto come "The Waag" in questo momento, ma era l'ingresso alla città completo di ponte levatoio.
Bella casa, ora Rembrandtmuseum, dove Rembrandt visse la maggior parte della sua vita. Ottimo posto da visitare in ogni occasione, e soprattutto quando forse hai perso l'occasione di ottenere i biglietti per i grandi musei.
Uno dei brudges più iconici di Amsterdam. L'ho vissuta per più di un decennio e quando ci passo accanto sono sempre infastidito dalle masse di turisti che vogliono fare una foto lì. Quando finalmente ho dato i miei tour, solo allora ho capito perché la gente andava lì! È perché la vista che offre, contrastando il ponte e il canale contro gli edifici, non ha eguali.
Come locale non ho mai nemmeno notato quanto fosse speciale questo mercato! Per noi locali è normale vedere solo il mercato che galleggia sull'acqua, ma è sicuramente qualcosa di speciale!
Questo è un posto poco conosciuto proprio nel cuore di Amsterdam che quasi nessuno conosce! È un'oasi di calma proprio nel mezzo della città più movimentata dei Paesi Bassi.

Questa fermata non include l'ingresso in casa. Se vuoi i biglietti per Anne Frank devi prenotarli con largo anticipo. Quello che posso fare è mostrarti la casa dall'esterno.
Le 9 strade, o "Negen Straatjes", sono una delle principali vie dello shopping artigianale di Amsterdam. Troverai cose che non troverai da nessun'altra parte. Se sei un fan dello shopping posso portarti qui!

Jan did a great job of showing us around the city. He gave us some good information about the area and what we should do while we are here. We enjoyed our tour and would recommend him for a good tour.

Jan gave us an interesting overall tour of Amsterdam. We felt it was a touch haphazard but it’s possible we weren’t clear about our interests. That said we covered a lot of ground, along with a variety of interesting social topics. We enjoyed the conversations and hearing the viewpoint of a local.
Jan kindly took us as a very last-minute booking. He was very accommodating, flexible and willing to show us so many great parts of Amsterdam, including tasty snacks and a lovely antique shop! We got to know the city a little and we have a better idea of the places we want to see more in depth. A nice introduction to Amsterdam.
We enjoyed our walking tour with Jan, and learned so much. He was also able to accommodate modifications to our route.

Strolling through the streets of Amsterdam was a very pleasant way to see and learn about a very old city. Jan our guide was extremely knowledgeable, well spoken and attentive to our needs. He presented the history of the city and country in a very interesting way. Really enjoyed our time with him.

Jan was an engaging and accommodating guide who tailored our tour to our time and interests. We arrived on our cruise ship 3-hours late and our original tour was canceled. I booked Jan with only 3-hours notice and he was simply amazing! Not only were we able to see all the beauty of Amsterdam, but he took us to a beautiful outdoor cafe for a coffee break and made sure we experienced a stroop waffle at a bakery that has been making them since 1898. Jan saved the day for us and gave us the best possible tour we could have hoped for!
Jan was the perfect guide. My wife and I wanted to see some of the highlights of Amsterdam (our first trip), but we also have some limited mobility issues (can't walk for miles in a city that relies on bikes and walking as primary modes of transportation). He talked us through options prior to our visit (very responsive to e-mails), and then he modified even further during the tour to make sure we got to see as much as we could, despite our limitations. Jan knew all of the shortcuts, and he was knowledgeable on the history of Amsterdam. We will take this tour again in the future.
