Ascolterai fatti e leggende correlati. La piazza Registan è un biglietto da visita di Samarcanda. Ti racconterò delle magnifiche moschee e madrase che vi si trovano. Moschea della cattedrale di Bibi-Khanum: ammirerai la sua cupola azzurra e l'arco delle dimensioni della Via Lattea. La moschea di Hazrat Khizr fu ricostruita nel XIX secolo, sostituendo quella distrutta nel XIII secolo. La moschea originale in questo sito risale all'VIII secolo. Il complesso commemorativo Shakhi-Zinda è uno dei misteriosi monumenti architettonici di Samarcanda. Si ritiene che qui si trovi la tomba di Kusam ibn Abbas, un associato del profeta Maometto in persona. Scopriamo insieme le nostre bellissime città! The tour was very pleasant and exciting. Our guide shared interesting facts about culture and attractions. I thought it was great that a lot was shared, but always with small breaks in between. I joined a group walking tour expecting to be part of a larger group, but surprisingly I ended up being the only participant. Instead of cancelling the tour, the company still honoured the booking and provided me with a private one-on-one experience, which I truly appreciated. My guide, Pravina, was absolutely wonderful. Learnt a lot from the tour led by Fayoziddin, who gave us a great introduction to Samarkand and patiently answered all our questions about history and contemporary life. Tour was also at a comfortable pace, ending just in time for lunch. Left with a better understanding of Samarkand and Uzbekistan.

We enjoyed our tour of five historic sites in Samarkand with Sam our tour guide. Sam spoke good English and gave a good insight into each of the buildings visited. It was a small group so it felt quite like a personal experience. He was happy to answer any questions we had. The tour was about 4 hrs which was fine and enjoyed the walk between locations which wasn’t too far. Nice way to spend the afternoon. Thanks Sam :-)
