Exceptional experience! A true sanctuary where elephants can finally escape from commercial and undignified treatment. A special thanks to our guide Jeffy who answered all our questions with competence!
From start to finish this tour was a great experience for our young family. To learn about each elephant’s past life, and to know they’re living their best retirement. You can see the staff care about the elephants wellbeing. Our guide Rudi was wonderful and insightful, no matter the question. 100% recommend for anyone wanting to see an ethical environment for elephants. The lunch provided was delicious.
Great experience. Would recommend, they care slot about the elephants and our guide Woody was amazing - super knowledgeable.
It was nice to learn about the elephants especially in a way that was not harming them. The employees really care about the elephants too. The food provided was also good. There's a gift shop on site as well that had nice things. Wear pants though because you have to walk through the forest to view the elephants. A lot of the shrubs will hit your legs. They provide boots for walking.
This was a fantastic experience. It was deeply rewarding to engage with these majestic animals in their natural habitat in a respectful and balanced manner. The stories of the elephants were movingly told by our guide, Thomas, who was a human encyclopedia with all knowledge on elephants and elephant behaviour. The setting was beautiful, the food was simple but delicious. It was a highlight for our family on our Phuket trip and highly recommend for anyone who cares for these amazing animals.
Such an incredible experience. The staff are so knowledgeable and passionate in the care and service they provide to not only their guests but also the elephants. So much complimentary snacks and drinks. They also provided umbrellas to shade from the heat, cool towels and cold water to help with the heat. Our tour guide was Patty, and she was so incredible with the insight and knowledge she had to share about the elephants. She was able to go into depth about each elephant, where they had came from and even who their friends with and their personality characteristics. Also includes free little surprise at the end. You can tell they are truly passionate and committed to the safety and wellbeing of all their elephants. They also showed us an informative documentary, which was very moving and highlighted how important elephants are in our ecosystem, and how important it is to invest and develop ethical sanctuaries and promote ethical practices to protect these buetiful creatures. We still got to get up close to watch and take pictures, while also respecting their habitat and their personal space. I could not recommend this place more.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. It is obvious that the elephants are treated with great love, respect, and care. The animals look relaxed and happy, and it was heartwarming to see them freely roaming, eating, socializing, and even wagging their tails. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, and passionate. We learned a lot about the elephants and their individual stories. Everything was very well organized and professionally managed. In our opinion, if you travel all the way to Phuket, this sanctuary is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to see elephants in an ethical and natural environment.
This place is everything I hoped it would be. I got to observe these magnificent elephants from just 5–6 feet away — completely undisturbed, on their own terms. No performances, no tricks, no pressure to entertain. Just elephants being elephants: playing, interacting with each other, and living as close to a natural life as possible. Knowing that these animals will never be sent back to work again made the whole experience deeply meaningful. There’s something powerful about witnessing a creature that size moving through the world with that kind of peace and freedom. The staff were wonderful and the food was excellent — a full experience, not just a visit. I’m so glad this sanctuary exists. If you’re looking for an ethical elephant experience in Phuket, look no further. This is it.
Special thank for Khun woody to take us to see the final elephant life in Phuket sanctuary we love it and definitely we will come back soon ❤️
An excellent experience, and very worthy cause. Ask money generated from this goes back into purchasing more dustressed/ injured elephants to live or their days at the sanctuary. An awesome day out, totally recommended.
